Finally Beat FF5: Advanced

Well guys I finally beat FF5 advanced which took alot of time and effort. I kept getting pwned by Exdeath . But luck was on my side thanks to Krile. The first battle was easy but Neo Exdeath was omg lol. I kept buffs up and when hope seemed lost because of his Awinsh ( hard to pronouce) almost killed all my characters! If was'nt for Krile doing that last mime summoning Bahamut I would have died for sure. Yay krile! Exdeath was pwned back to void lol. Here is my end game stats:


Bartz: lvl 38

Samurai

Ablilites- Zenaiage, Guard

Krile: lvl 38

Mime

Ablilties- Whitelvl6!, Summonlvl6!, HP+30%

Lenna: lvl 37

Summoner

Ablilites- Whitelvl5!, Summonlvl5!

Faris: lvl 38

Mime

Ablilites- Blacklvl6!, Timelvl6!, Items

The levels seem kind of low, but that goes to show that even low lvls can win hard behind battles like that lol. Thank god for the Mime job it comes in handy alot If you don't mind share what your end game stats were, and how you beat the game.

I was all lv 40.

Bartz [Gladiator] Finisher. Blue Magic
Lenna [Free Lancer (with Dual Wield)] Summon, Throw
Krile [Mime] Mime, Black Magic, Time Magic
Faris [Free Lancer (With Dual Wield). Throw, Revive


Yea...alot of revive, phoenix, White Wind and abuse of Golem, Carnbucle and Bahamut.

LOL i know >.< but I was different Jobs before I found the right one to use. When i chose to use these jobs that's when I won over Exdeath. Mime spamming Curaga and Meteor/ Zeniage/ Bahamut and Hastega thanks to Faris. This was one of the most exciting and challenging final fantasy final battle I had in awhile. Althrough NOW I know how " Grand Cross " got it's start ( aka used in FF9 by Netron later on in the series.) Because I was shocked it knew Grand Cross! The next time I play I try some new combanations for them and raise my levels more, but it was great I finally beat FF5^-^. Time for the Secret Dungeon

Wow I haven't gotten the game yet on the GBA, but based on what you guys are saying it sounds like Ex-Death is hard.I have the PS1 version and he wasn't easy either.Is the game on the GBA harder then the one on the PS1?

In a way it's based on how often you played ff5 on PS1 and then comparing it to the GBA version, it's sort of the same to me but I noticed that Exdeath was WAY more tougher in his final form then on the PS1 version. He used Awinish more often but Meteor was delayed compared to the pS1 version, he always casted Grand Cross near his death on Ps1 but did'nt this time around.

I beat him at least 6 times now, Here are my stats when i first beat him:

lv.40 Bartz: Free lancer- Rapid fire, Finsher

lv. 38 Lenna: Mime- Dualcast, Time(lv6), White(6)

lv 39 Krile: Mime- Combine(Cannonear abilty), Blue, Rapid fire

lv 40 Faris: Mime- Dual cast, Black(lv6), Summon(lv5)

There hp was around 2500 and there mp was arouund 300. I had a gold harpin so it halved my mp use for Lenna and Faris.

Well thoses are my stats o and good luck in the bonus doungen(Sealed temple) and the boss rush mode(Closter of the dead)!

From what I remember when I beat it:

Bartz 35- Samurai-Zeniage/white
Krile 35- Samurai-Zeniage/white
Lenna 34- Samurai-Zeniage/Time
Faris 34- Samurai-Zeniage/white

I took the easy way out=\

And I had 5 million Gil from Movers >_> god damn... I didn't realize Zeniage took up so little gil lolz
