Level 9 Clear Data?

I heard that the lowest level anyone ever beaten the game at was level 9, how in the world did they do that? One blow from Exdeath would wipe them out! Is there a similar system of FF8's 'Level up, monster levels up' thing?

I've heard about it too. I think I read somewhere that many of the boss attacks do damage based on HP% rather than actual attack power, but I'm not sure exactly. I guess if you just run from all regular battles and fight enemies that give a lot of AP and not much exp to beef up your classes, you could do it at a lowish level.

I guess that MIGHT be a possibility. From my experiences, I think I remember fighting a Garula and not recieving any exp.
