Final Fantasy Versus XIII Trailer

Well I don't THINK this has been posted elsewhere but i found this on youtube. Apparently it was the E3 trailer they DIDN'T release until now. Final Fantasy Versus XIII, is one of square's titles in its Final Fantasy XIII collection

What do people think of the clip? I don't know, it reminds me a bit too much of FF VII for some reason. Looks interesting though, I'm just hoping Nomura can redeem himself in my eyes and do something good outside of Kingdom Hearts.

Actually the E3 video was only 30 seconds from what they reported. This trailer however is from the Jump Festa in Japan a much more recent event. Square Enix showed a lot of their games there with new footage, FF Versus XIII being one of them. They also accounced a new game to be named later possibly being related to KH series.

Either way I found a better version of the trailer, which to my dismay has been up for 13 days. I'm slacking on my FFXIII trailers. Rather dispecible of me to let it go that long. Either way, I use YouTube as my way of knowing that there is a better one to be found somewhere else in the internet. If there is a trailer on YouTube, then they found it somewhere else.

I've been crying for a the trailer that have held private for so long. I couldn't even find a hint of one around the internet, its like no one took a camera in there. *shrugs* Oh well.

I'm pretty excited about this game since it is from the KH team and I love the KH games. I'll be curious to see what they do with the FF name. The KH have not been known for great stories, though fun gameplay. So I hope to see a deeper story here along with fun gameplay.

Much better quality. I agree youtubes videos are awful quality, but you're right that does usually mean you can find the clip elsewhere.

I think the game does look good. I just wonder, are we to assume that the clip is in realtime or not? It's funny because on Youtube somebody set up two videos explaining in images that the character from this game is related to sepiroth and vincent from FF 7. I mean sure the character has similarities and the world even reminds me of midgar, but come on, they are from the same character designer so of course they are going to look similar! The same person also had clips trying to do the same saying Lightning from FF XIII is related to Cloud. Apparently they think the worlds are all linked or something. *shrugs*. I don't know about these crazy youtubers.

You're right tho, i think an original action rpg like this is a great idea, and if it carry on with the same fun gameplay as KH i'm sure i'd probably like it.

Actually I would think it's people new to the series who haven't consider FFVII old as dirt and was released when they were in diapers.

Anyway, looks nice but me thinks it's going to be another boring spin off, it might be pretty nice but I guess I'll have to read more into it. The whole pretty boy thing is starting to slowly annoy me now.

I saw this yesterday while loafing around on youtube.
It looks really cool, when he is going down the stairs and all of the bullets shooting around him, when we think he is going to fall on the ground, some barrier thing appears in front and protects him, really cool.
I'd like to see this game

Some say Spring 2008, other says December 31st of this year. I personally think it's gonna be the Spring of 08, I could be wrong, I mean it would be fantastic if you know, it came out in December, but hey, I am just trying to be realistic.

I watched this trailor twice, cus i loved it, and I found that it wasnt some barrier, it was a multitude of floating weapons such as how one of them was a gunblade. Since that is the case (correct me If I'm wrong) that would mean this character is able to levitate multiple weapons like that, I wonder what else he'll be able to do and if you play as him....

I think that video was quite amazing, i really can't wait to see more. It reminds me too of FF8, but i think it's good, i really liked how the game was. Can't wait
