Whose Trial Did You Like Most?
Hey, on the lunar ruins, whose trial did you like the most and why?
Well mine was definitely Kain's. With blood soaked lances, a love conflict, a frienship tested and a lunar bahamut fight, this was too much . |

Ya, I agree. Kains was the best because: It relates to the story, Its a one player trail, It is one of those things were you CAN'T MESS UP( Unless you choose to kill Cecil) and I liked lunar Bahmut.

I liked Cecil's. I admit that Kain's had the best plot, but I also found it a little tiring and I would prefer much more to fight Lunar Bahamut with my whole party and not only Kain.
Cecil's was simpler, but I liked how Lunar Odin tried to test Cecil. Fight the thief, save the poor bullied kid, protect the chest, leave alone the Magelixir in the gravestone, etc. And in the end, you also get Lightbringer. I love that weapon. Lunar Odin must have been the toughest of the Lunar Summons, though.

Though I enjoyed Kain's and Cecil's trials, I found Edge's trial to be my favorite.
I absolutely loved Edge's reactions to the castle. I loved his childish glee over what he considered to be a "ninja's playground", his growing impatience with the king of the castle, and how he was reluctant to leave the castle when Cecil said it was time to go. The scene at the end where he is choosing between going with the party or staying at the castle was absolute gold.

i really liked kains alot. it had such a great plot to it, but dont get me wrong cecil's was good also, but that was kind of expected for cecil's trial.... i also enjoyed edge's trial because of the challenge!!! it tooke me forever to get throught that place, but it was fun!!

Overall, Cecil's did technically have the least to do. Considering all you did was react in events and receive an item based on your overall decisions. Likewise, when there isn't enough dialogue, it tends to be like Yang's and Rydia's which were non stop battles.
I too enjoyed Cecil's, but still prefer that of Kain's after having a second round at it... |
