Listen To Music While Playing FF

Do any of you listen to any music while playing FF, i listen to almost anything but i love to listen to evanescence while playing i think the music sutes FF .

So guys and gals what u listen to while playing FF?

I generally listen to the game music while playing FF or any other game. However, on rare occassion I have listened to other music while playing. Nothing special though, just whatever. Depends how annoying the in-game music is I guess.

I only listen to music when i'm stat maxing, that way I don't get bored and give up. I usually listen to linkin park or offspring, stuff like that.

Depending on the game i might listen to music while i play FF, though mostly i just listen to the game music itself.

Lately when playing XII really late, ive been drinking mass quantities of coke and listening to some louder music to get me pumped up so i don't fall asleep.

Sometimes if i'm super high while i play i might put on some stoner jams a little bit too haha.

I listen to anything and everything thats playing on my ipod. Its always on shuffle mode so i listen to whatever playing. Nothing particular

With all of the FF games, I listen to the game music -- even FFXI. Every once in a while though, I will turn off the music in FFXI and let iTunes sit in the background. I have a specific playlist for FFXI, which includes a handful of songs from FFXI, FFXII, and then remixes of songs from other videogames. Oh, and Pearl Jam.

Yeah, I usually just listen to the game music too. Whenever I am gaining levels in Final Fantasy VIII, I do listen to my own music. I don't really listen to anything in general. I just like to listen to whatever I feel like at the time. I do listen to Guns n' Roses a lot oh and probably Bon Jovi. That's what I'd probably listen to the most while levelling up. The map music in VIII isn't that great in my opinion, I'm not too keen on it. The battle music is nice as well but it's just nice to have something different playing.

I don't really listen to any other music other than the game music when I'm playing a FF. That usually happens with other rpg's.

Though sometimes it's nice to listen to Evanescence while playing Legend of Dragoon. ^^

haha, well, it depends on the game and what my playlist wants to do, I usually just put it on random and let it do its thing while I play games, but, seeing how my PS2, Gamecube, and PC are all hooked to the surround sound, I usually have to choose what I want to listen to or play at one specific time -_-.

I usually love the music in FF enough not to play other music over it. The only games I listen to outside music when playing are Diablo II and the Sims 2. When I play D2, I usually have some metal (namely Necrophagist & Gorod) and the Sims 2 usually calls for some rap or light trance (Bone Thugs, Everlast, Ian Van Dahl...)

Normally I listen to the in-game music but sometimes the music is really crappy I just put on something else which goes in mood with the game. God of War music makes it annoying to play and is better without music, FFVIII though a good game probably has the dumbest Game OST. Dragonquest VIII music is rather shitty... well generic really, I am going to try tonight to keep the voices on but get rid of the music and put on some Viking/Epic Metal which should go in tune nicely, or even some good ole' folk music.

Usually I listen to the game music, but occasionally, especially when I'm stuck, I listen to Eye of the Tiger, or the Montage song from Team America: World Police. when I'm in the battle arena in FF7, I listen to disturbed and system of a down. In FFX, during some of the mini games, or in the final dungeon, I listen to pantera or The offspring.

sometimes i do but to only to level the charaters up and max their stats out or during the boring parts or when going through the game again.
