Are Linkin Park AMVs getting old?

well I was watching AMVs for a bit to cure bordom and its been bugging me for a while that LP are always the chosen song for AMVs but this was the last straw because every single one i watched was Linkin Park...

so what do you think?? are LP AMVs getting old?

I think they are (obviously) they are my favoirute band but its boring me now

I don't think so.

I mean, they do have some very catchy songs and they go pretty well with AMV's. A lot of people choose them, as you've obviously noticed.

I think the catchiness of some of their tracks just makes them easy to work with.

I don't really care much about AMV's, but... music and video's together is pretty cool, even if the band are a little out-dated.

After hearing Crawling and Papercut used in almost 300 AMVs (including a few my friends made), I gotta say, they gotta get a new 'effin band.

haha in all my AMV's do not have Linkin Park because I deliberatly avoid them

I actually really luv Linkin park. My fave song of theirs is "In the end". It really caught on to me! But seriously, I don't think their gettin old! People all over the world still listen 2 them, obviously the AMV's do too. I also like "Numb" too. Heck, I luv all their songs, there all so great.(IMO) But I guess it all depends on ur type of music, obviously my kind is rock and heavy metal. But overall, I think it'll be a while until people get sick of them.

dude I think you read the question wrong because i love Linkin Park also but the AMVs with songs to linkin park are getting old (aka In The End , Papercut, Crawling)

Yeah, that's wut I meant, I don't think there gettin old. I didn't read it wrong, coz u said u like them, but even tho there a little out dated it'll b a long time until people get sick of them and stop listenin 2 them as much. The reason people still listen 2 them is coz their songs r so easy enjoy and play and sing to at any time. LOL. I didn't read it wrong!

Honestly it is getting kinda boring them watching them over and over. I like the band overall and most of their songs, but after listening to most of their AMV's over and over it does get old and played out.

I used to be a huge Linkin Park fan back in 2001, and I still listen to some of their songs now, although a lot less often than I used to. I know for certain that it isnt because I don't think Linkin Park are the greatest band ever that I tire of seeing their songs in AMVs, but the fact that it breaks away the difference in AMVs. Some LP AMVs i've seen are fantastic, others are poorly done. I do still watch LP AMVs, just like I will other AMVs. I actually saw one which in a sense was not well collected together, as it was only a run-through of clips from Final Fantasy VIII's lunar cry FMVs. However, they used a redone version of a Depeshe Mode song, which strung it all well together. If a song fits with a video, it makes it good, whether or not it is always/never used.

The one thing which IS getting old with AMVs is the same scenes being used again and again and again and again and again and again....

I've only used a LP song once for an AMV. It was for the anime Dual: Parallel Trouble Adventure, and I used the song Somewhere I Belong. It turned out pretty well.

The problem with Linkin Park Vids is that people use the same songs. Over and over again. I can take a slower, more thoughtful set of clips and put it over With You and it will turn out okay. Or I could take Paper cut with some DBZ clips, and cut it in half to finish it out with Bodies by Drowning Pool.

That is, if I have a horrible fear of originality.

its mainly animes like Naruto and DBZ which are being used for them.....hehe im tepyed to use Nobodys Listening - Linkin Park to prove a point

If you ask me that's a matter of opinion. I have seen a lot of good Linkin Park AMVs myself. Depends on how big of a fan you are.
