Undefined character stat
After gaining the bismark esper, it occurred to me that on the character status screen the word 'strength' is nowhere to be found. Obviously it relates to physical battle performance, but the precise manner is not set forth. Does it increase weapon damage if its rating is higher than a monster's level? Does it simply rule critical hits? Clarification appreciated.

The Strength stat exists, and it's fairly obvious at that... it just has a different name. Vigor is your Strength stat, while Bat.Pwr. refers to your Strength + the power of the equipped weapon.
edit: Or Palazzo could beat me to it by 15 seconds.

I thought this was simple. I mean i was 7 when i played this game and i knew what vigor was. It's not like vigor is in a different langauge or anything and even if you don't know what the word means i mean put it together..its the only stat besides speed, stamina, and magic power. Hmm what else is there? Plus it does correspond with Battle Power in your status menu..uuhhh ![]()

Wasn't there an 'Attack' stat as well. Though I think that was 'Accuracy'. |

No, there isn't an attack stat or an accuracy stat
I mean i'm not saying everyone should know what the word means, you really don't even have to to figure it out. If you really need to know..check a dictionary or something. I mean just by looking at the status menu you should notice that strength is missing and know it's vigor And i dont think anyone would think Battle power is strenghth. Battle power is like the name implies..battle power. Your raw strength AFTER a weapon is equipped

I guess I mean some people might..but honestly i think they would have to be complete idiots to think that
The term battle power is pretty self-explanatory. I mean its your power in battle, and who would go into battle without a weapon? (unless your a monk or other barehanded fighter ) I mean why would your strength go up when you equip a weapon? Obviously battle power isn't your raw strength. Plus vigor is your first stat, and usually strength is in that spot.I'm not trying to be mean or anything, i'm just saying..it's pretty easy to figure out. I don't think you should have to ask somebody about it.
