Anyone remember the Final Fantasy I MUD?

There used to be a MUD based on Final Fantasy 1 that used the Pueblo MUD client. Basically the game looked exactly like you were playing it on NES. You could make a team of up to 4 characters (like the original) or just make 1 or 2 and team up with other people playing the game. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone remembered this game and if it was still around.

The Eternal Fantasy is a MUD based on the popular game series "Final Fantasy" by Squaresoft. The MUD offers players a growing list of races, including Human, Elf, Moogle, Half-Elf, Half-Lunar, Kelban and Dwarf. Also, players can alternate between over 60 classes -- including knights, paladins, ninjas, assassins, archmagi, thief, and treasure hunters -- through a system borrowed from Final Fantasy Tactics. This allows players to select both a primary class and a secondary class, combining the abilities of both.

Those are a lof of classes in the game. I wonder what how the battle system is though. I'm assuming its like FFI I guess. Thanks for the link though.

i started playing this today. it's actually pretty fun! about 6 people were also online playing at the time, so i was able to get some help in the OOC channel. meet Phin - Race: Moogle. Primary: Thief Secondary: Black Mage lololol

this should be some good fun at work - and the nice thing about MUDs is the fact that it's just a window full of text. very easy to conceal your heroic deeds from the boss

it sounds interesting and i kinda wana play it but i didnt see what to do on the eternal fantasy site so i went to the mud domains site and registered thn clicked on how to TMI-2 mud but it sad something about editing the files afterwards but DONT USE WINDOWS TO EDIT THEM it said so i just gave up. heres the link if any1 wants to look it over http://www.muddomain.com/article/how..._tmi_2_mud.php.

you need to download a MUD client (found here: http://directory.google.com/Top/Game.../MUDs/Clients/), then enter TEF's server name (eternalfantasy.org) and port number (3333) to connect to the server that's running the game. once in, just type "tune in" to begin play. for further assistance check out this faq. it should answer any questions you have getting started. also, to talk to people in game just type ooc and whatever it is you needed to ask about. ^^

im stuck... its says that im in this ethereal plane that i entered right after i created my char and i try talking but i guess no1 is there to tell me what to do cus every command i give is wrong.

FFA+ was very funny indeed.
