Pros and Cons of Kingdom Hearts

Well I thought I decided to start a thread on hearing people's thoughts about the good, the bad, and the ugly about this game. So with that said, what are the good things about this game? What are the bad things about this game?

Personally some good things about the game is the whole hack and slash fighting gig. It really gets you into the game and the storyline is truly perfect in every detail. Also, the music for the game is really nice and the Disney and FF characters are great as well. The only bad thing I can say about the game is that it felt too short. The game didn't feel long enough im my opinion.

Pro: The game had a great story and I really like the part of the game where you play as Roxas.

Con: The little mermaid level. Sure it had its fun parts but it wasnt needed or wanted in the game.

Pros: The story was very creative and the keyblade was......creative too. xD

Cons: Same as Darkness, The mermaid level was..uh.....ackward. Kh2 was too short and it didn't have the same feeling as part 1 did.

There are no cons for the Kingdom Hearts Game...and i dont say that just because i worship it.... its probably the only true real time game from square enix. This game is the very definition of "perfection"

Only true real time game from Square Enix?? FAR from it.I can think of atleast 10+ other ones....and "perfection"? hahaha..wow. that is all i have to say.

The game was fun, but perfect? That's one the biggest lies i have ever heard.

PROS: Good graphics, beautiful worlds, good music and voice acting. fun boss battles, good storyline, a lovable set of characters, and fun (though sometimes repetitive) real time combat

I actually liked the little mermaids level..why wasn't it needed or wanted? It was part of the story

CONS: ..i hated the Gummi Bear ships, those were definitely out of place and broke up the game too much. Not to mention the camera got really annoying at times Plus your teammates really didn't seem to help enough..mostly they were there to take hits for you.

other than that, another big con was the difficulty of the game. It was WAY too easy. Not only that, but a little bit on the short side as well

Well we all know the usual pros but the one thing that stood out was how "magical" this game was. I've never called a game magical before but KH seems to give me that feeling, I guess it was because of Disney. I was actually having a converstation with my brother once and he said "The game feels so...magical" and I said "Yeah, I was going to say that but I didn't want to sound homo."

Cons: My main bone to pick is with the second one. I've said this before, the element of exploration was almost completely taken away. Not once did I actually have to search for a treasure chest, you couldn't even call them hidden treasure chest, they were always to the left or right of your path. Remember in the first one where you could jump all over the roofs of Travers Town, and every time you got a new ability like high jump or glide you went back to all the places to get the treasures you couldn't get before? And not only did the game have hidden chests but it also presented some what of a challenge to get them, I remember having to try a few times to get certain chests.

XD Gummy BEAR ships? The gummy ship system was WAY better than in the original KH game. But still..they should make it more....kingdom hearts like. Instead of disney like. As for the teammates thing. I think the team members were still pretty useful. Although they were a bit better in KH1 if you ask me.
But yeah. The game was WAY to easy. Even on the difficult mode. It was longer than the last one though. Thats a good thing.

Not to spam but I made this thread for your opinions about Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

PROs: Its a good storyline and such and I love it the gameplay was good and the feel of looking around in 1

CONs: I dont like the battle system sometimes and can be a bit annoying and the cameral angles suck sometimes too

Ok let me see, I will start with what I like:

• It is quite a easy game so you can really just pick it up when you are bored and go through it, the challanges were hard like at the Colloseim(sp) with the barrel quest but not even close to impossible (the challange that kept me from playing it or I would of completed it ages ago.
• The graphics are nice and smooth, I didn't think they were as good as FFX but they were still nice and did quite a good job.
• Even though overall it is short there was a quite a lot to do, although this part was somewhat lacking.
• The music was nice, most games seem to just find some random beat that barely goes with the game but on Kingdom Hearts it went together quite well.

Now to the bad:

• Most of the levels are too short, actually besides hallow baston the better the level the shorter it was. Halloween Town was fun but too short, Agrabah was boring (to me at least) and it took me ages to get through it. Probably a personal thing but yeah.
• The story is mind numbing, it was quite dull and cheesy and lacked depth to it "You hearts this, the darkness will consume your heart"... just bleh!
• Ok I am not going to complain about the Disney aspect as after a while you get use to it BUT I felt it didn't quite capture the essence of the movies as they could have. I don't mean the whole story but it just felt lacking if you will.

Pros: I liked most of levels in KH 1, the music was good as well.

Cons: the camera angles were really annoying, I hated the level with Tarzan yes he was good in a fight but other then thta he was just annoying.
