Help me im stucjk near the beginning

ok i feel so retarded for been stuck this early in the game but the first crystal when the brooms say select button B backwards where do i press it help!!!!

Just hold 'Select' button and press 'B' button and you will see map. There.

the brooms are telling you how to bring up the map, it doesn't really have anything to do with the story. congratulations! you've found matoya's cave! isn't the music in here fantastic? what's that? she needs a glass eye? better remember that one for the future

i was stuck on FF I and wondered what i had to do when the brooms where talking backwards i didnt realise it was to bring up the map i thoguht i needed to do something else

I have FF 1&2: dos and FF7.............FF7 is better and just about as classic as any other Final Fantasy
