Would you want a sequel or a movie for this game?

FFIX is one of my favorite FF games of all time because of its great storyline and unique characters and overall its a great game. Would you want a sequel or a movie for this game or not?

No, because like you I love FFIX (although not as much as some other FFs) and I don't want to see it spoiled or over stretched like FFVII is.
I don't think the characters would suit a movie, too kiddish.

I feel Square Enix should try to recapture the elements that made the old games a success instead of rehashing old concepts.

No, only Final Fantasy VII can pull of a movie IMO, and I dont really like FFIX as much as the others to want a movie of it so no for me.

Well I think A movie would be cool but you never know the movie could be crap and give the game a bad name if you know what I mean but they could be able to make it good then it would be pritty cool

No I would not. I think they should have never made an FF movie. It went all wrong. FF is a game not a movie. So wy would they try to change it after all this time. So no I would not like it.

Making a movie wouldn't be the best idea. Although IX is my favorite, a movie would just ruin it for me. Weither it be a sequel or a movie based om the game, I'd rather remember it as it is. And like other people said, a movie would be really bad.

To be frank.. no. A movie would suck and a sequel would really be pointless since it was all very conclusive.

Well I think A game about FF9 Before it all happened would be good. Like Zidanes story of when he was a bandit or Vivi's Story about he was created then he could of ran away and it would be his story on how he got to Alaxandria (I cant remember the first citys name but its somthing like that. I think that would be good

FFIX I agree, is probablly my favourite game. I loved the characters and storyline because it was a change from the other FF series (even though I love the rest of the games too, it was nice to see Square risk a change).

When I first saw the title of this topic, I thought "wicked a film would be awsome" but sinse I have read everyone elses post's Im starting to agree with them. I'd hate to see a rubbish movie because it would change the reputation of the game. And I think that a prequal or sequal is out of the question sinse the storyline was pretty mush covered in the game.

I don't think there is any need for a prequel or sequel to this game. But a live action film (if done well obviously) would be wonderful. I actually want to see all the Final Fantasy's become movies. But maybe that's just cause I want to be in them...

I love FF IX (It's my fave) but the game ended well. There were no unawnsered questions. But I would like to see a movie just for the visuals (The story would be weak).

Only FF VII would (and did) make a good movie/sequel/prequel because there were several unawnsered questions.

Yha i agree I was thinking it would be awsome but now im the same thing...
That they might come out with a crudy movie and chage the game reputaion.
