I'm really confused...
You know the charecters Vaan and Penelo?? Well I;ve looked at a few different sources and I'm really confused. Are they dating or just friends? On this website it says "Vaan's girlfriend, Penelo" but on the ffxii website it says they're just good friends (and that Ashe "loses her heart to him"). Can someone please explain? thanks =)

yeah i guess. just checking to make sure nobody knew anything, since i dont know when i'm going to be able to play it considering i dont have a PS2 and i dont know when im going to get one ( but i will evnetually =) )

Honestly I really don't know about Vaan and Penelo and Ashe's heartbreak, but I do know that Vaan and Penelo have been really good friends for a long time and she tries to keep him out of trouble in certain situations. I'm not saying that this is 100% true, so I guess we have to wait until it comes out in the fall.

I had questions about Vaan and Penelo also but I'll just have to wait for the game to come out. Having these questions just makes waiting for the game even harder.

Well Ashe was already marrying someone else. And unless Square Enix changed things Vaan and Penelo are a couple, though they fight sometimes and it is a little on and off sometimes. But it has been said that romance is not the focus of FFXII. So if they are it is not going to be a driving factor.
I do not know if the guy that Ashe married is dead or not, but at least in the trailers she is wearing a wedding dress next to some guy in very ceremonial armor.

I think they are cause in the game...darn you all haven't played (I just started) and some things happen between them and they seem a lil' too close for just friends.
