You can get a different ending if you finish the game with the Save the Queen and Cinna's Hammer in your inventory.
You can get Cinna's Hammer by getting all 13 Stelazzio Coins for the lady in Treno. You can get Save the Queen by synthing it from Hades. You can find Hades in Memoria behind the coral and rocks in the area where Quina tries to swim in the water. You have to beat Hades first before you can synth items from him.
