The Sunbreeze Festival
The days just keep getting hotter and hotter! But according to our sources in the Mog House Management Union (M.H.M.U.), the officials from each nation have decided to hold another festival to beat the heat! Yes, the Sunbreeze Festival is back with its upbeat music and dancing to bring cool breezes down from the heavens to Vana'diel.

The rumor is out, and the nations are getting into the festive mood. Volunteers from various shops and guilds have gathered to create town decorations and fireworks for the festival, and the moogles are out searching the nations of Vana'diel for Rakapopo Dancers. The goldfish scooping merchants are also hard at work mass-producing super scoops that break under the weight of particularly jumpy fish.

And of course, the master alchemist Azima is hard at work on-you guessed it-Azimuth Circle II! Once again, adventurers will need to team up and maintain close communication in order to find a specific target. It should be easy with good teamwork, but this time the event will be held outside of town, so you will have to keep a lookout for monsters as well!

Azima claims that she decided to hold the event outdoors this year to add an extra dimension of excitement. So with your heart racing at the end of the day, you can don a yukata together and have an even greater appreciation for the beautiful sight of fireworks.

Nights filled with music, dancing, fireworks, and games... Be sure not to miss this year's Sunbreeze Festival!

[Event Details]
This event is scheduled to commence on July 25, 2006 and will last until August 21, 2006 0:00 (PDT). The Azimuth Circle II event is scheduled to commence on July 31, 2006 at 17:00 and will last until August 21, 2006 0:00 (PDT).

That hunt and seek game is back but outside now. Means it is going to be twice as hard now to find what you are looking for. Well, I guess that just means more of a challenge. Though no more second floor maps like in Bastok Mines.

I wonder what they are offering this year since the Bikinis were last year.

That was before your time Usagy, it was around the first couple of months it was released on the PC in the US. It was a Christmas event or so. As I understand it, there were like 3 or 4 of these massive trees around the world and their HP and regen were so insane that it required hundreds of people working 24/7 for days dying, resting and healing to take these things down. The reward was the outpost teleports, if the world defeated all of them they got the outpost teleports. Most worlds managed to do it.

A lot old, old veterans still think fondly on this event.

Oh the Twinkling Treant, that was a good time. I used the one in West Ronfaure to level up my archery skill lol. But yeah, that was an awesome event, it would be great if they could host another similar event sometime soon. Now all we have are stupid events where we go talk to a moogle and run around to find crap. But once again I did the event...didn't they used to call this summerfest btw? Anyway, I got the two yukata-things. Kinda irritating that they give you a full stack of those fireworks at a time. It takes a long time to use 99 Muteppos.....and you can't even sell the things to an NPC!! I am seriously considering throwing them away lol. Nah I won't tho...I still have my Kingdom Stables Collar fully charged from when we chased after the goblin diggers. Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying the fireworks and the new fish tanks. Have fun.
