Did your game freeze up at the ending?
I'm talking about for the non-extended ending. When Steiner and Beatrix are opening the door for Garnet. When they show Beatrix my game freezes on her sorta for several long seconds and then boom...the end...does your game do that freeze thing or is mine just scratched making it do that? Because it does this even if I play it again and get the stellazios for the extended ending I'm afraid it won't work because it could be mine's too scratched or something.
Basically, is this normal for the game if you don't have the extended ending? |

my game did the same thing in disk one when black waltz attacked the airship, buts its only done it once and theres no scratches on the disk, ive replayed the disk lots of times and it dosnt do it anymore.

It once happen to me when everyone was getting out of that forest being chase by some insect things.I have to do that boss all over again.Annoying.

It happened to me when the black mages where attacking lindblum... It ruined a good FMV!! But probably my disc was just scratched... and so is yours.

Atleast your game is only scratched at the end,
and I don't know but you can probably watch the rest of the ending FMV on youtube.

It was weird, mine kept freezing when Zidane went into trance. I'd have to wait ten minutes, then it'd continue. Very odd.

I think I only got game-freezing in Final Fantasy VI and that was because my PlayStation 1 was faulty back then - it isn't now, it somehow repaired itself. So You either have a scratched disc (How come? You do not take proper care of Your FF games? Or did You just buy it scratched?) or it's the console.

Mines never froze at all. One my friends bought a new FFIX game when it first came out and it froze at the beggining too. The wierd thing though is that it was new and yeah.

It's not always the game it could be the system. When I was using the PS1 games would often freeze when entering a new town, during FVMs, and when starting the game. Now that I used a PS2, I've played the dame games just fine. Don't go running to think its the game.
