If you're considering buying Advent Children
Buy it. I saw it a few weeks ago in Japanese with terrible English subtitles and I still thought it was all right. I just saw the English version and wow. It's really, really good. I wish it was a little longer, but it's defnitely something I'll watch over and over. So if you're just considering getting it and dont' own it, buy it, you won't regret it.

I like the part with the final battle and when they were fighting Bahamut sin.

I agree with them BUY IT. I saw it in french, in english and subbed in the two languages. IT ROCKS! It's as funny in the two versions.

Yeah. I like it too. I think they picked it off from the original game "okay". Though to me, the story was a bit....uh, not too good, but I think it was still awesome. The CGI graphics were great, and it had intense battle sequences. And Uematsu's slight change of fighting music with mixes of the original themes and rock/metal or something. There wasn't anyting that I didn't like about Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, other than the fact that it could have had a stronger, deeper storyline like its prequal game, but again, I loved it. and with that, I give AC a 9/10. SO BASICALLY BUY IT. NOW. Or else!

I have both versions, but I dislike both.
Advent Children was just so...eh...I will not deny that it is very pretty. The graphics are really awesome, but... it's just not that great storywise. I mean, yes, it relates to FFVII in many ways... then again, come to think of it, I didn't like FFVII that much, either. Eh, I guess I should give up hope on ever liking FFVII.

Yeah, this is like... my favorite movie. I watched it over and over again. And I still watch it too. I just watched it today. ^_^ But yes, I agree. This is one of those must buy movies if you're a final fantasy VII fan. It's a sad thing, when you can quote almost the entire movie....

I have the English Version. I thought it was awesome. Sometimes it was weird though. I'll give it a 9/10. I'd encourage people to buy it.

I'm waiting for my version. I wanted it in french but I couldn't find it so I bougth it in english and I'm waiting for the order to come in. Really, if you're thinking about buying it go ahead. The first FF movie was well made but this one is better.
For those who have the dvd how are the extras, I'm dying to see them!
