Is there anyone that can help me...?

I am new here....actually just looking for sites in hope to find someone that can help me know what I really am...I have taught myself....that I should know myself before knowing others...but I can understand others better than I can understand myself....if you were to meet me in real life and say hello to me...I would know your exact personality from that point on...but as for me...I can never know myself...I am begining to think that I am completely insane...I like to help everyone....in anyway I can....but even I need help...and I am looking for someone that can help me....I don't care what you say about me...that's your own opinion and I give you the right to speak your mind...I like to see....people smile...and happiness....those things....will always make me smile...that's why I help people....and I will do anything in my power to help them....but still....I don't even know myself...and I will be happy if people are happy...but that is all only temporary I will only truly be happy....when I find out who I really am...truthfully I don't think any of you can ever help me...but anything...is worth a try....

I'm not sure if this'll stay open...I don't see why not, but that's up to the gen chat mods. Anyways, hmm...You need to talk to people, let them know your personality if you want to know who they think you are.... None of us are anything, really. Just blood, flesh and a bunch of genes given to us by our parents. Along the way, in early life and our teenage years, we develope specific tastes, which over time, vary and change slightly, but we often stay routed to original belief... (well, that's how it's been for most people I know who are even middle aged!)
Your personality is full of opinions, likes and dislikes. Unless you're looking for character traits, in which I'd say... you seem sad, a quiet person who is just trying to find their way. Unfortunately, without having spoken to you more, it's impossible for me to give more judgement on you. I apologise for this. @_@

Well...it's strange about me because...I may seem sad and quiet...but if you get to know me better...I am happy and loud...I smile...and get annoying...I just seem like I am so many different things all at once...it's kind of tearing me apart...and making me...not know wat or who I am....

I don't think anybody really knows who they are. You just... have to search inside yourself to understand, and even then, you probably never will. Like mefor example. I know my traits, many of them are good, and many bad. I just sat there and thought about it for a long long time, until... I just didn't bother to anymore. I hope you find yourself. Good luck!

Oh, Craigifer, don't post one-liners like your above post. It's against the rules.

Also, I believe you're the only one who can figure out who you are. Asking strangers on an internet forum probably isn't the quickest way to figure it out. You sound like a teenager, am I right? That's pretty much what being a teenager is. Figuring out who you are and who you want to be as an adult, etc etc.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this topic. It'll stay open for now.

Hmm.. I understand how you are concerned, though i've personally never felt this.

What I suggest is to try not to think about it too much. You will find out who you are if you just give it some time. You seem to be the same age as me, and I see that you are troubled. Its good that you feel happy around those who are happy themselves. Being around great friends is a really important thing. I am a naturally shy person, but around my friends I am more open and lively. Sometimes one of the most abstract of the bunch! It is good to be an indiviual too, so dont worry if you think you are different. Everyone should be different and everyone should respect that. Those who dont have issues, not you. It is also good you have different sides to your personality. It leads to good traits. There is nothing odd about it.

You have actually started well. Expressing your feelings in writing is a good way to begin to solve your problems, whether long term or short term. I hope you find what you are looking for soon.
