FF10-2 worth buying?

Is FF10-2 worth purchasing? I recently got FF10 and I really am enjoying it (even if I was wary of it but I'm like that with all FF games...gotta stop that.^^; ). My friends say FF10-2 is terrible but you can't always judge a book by it's cover. Also does it relate in any way to FF10 or is it a completely new game? Thanks!

FFX-2 isn't such a great game as FFX but you should judge it by yourself. It's not that bad, I think. And yes FFX-2 is related to FFX. Yuna actually tries to find Tidus with the help of Rikku and Paine. I suggest you to give it a try...

I have X-2 and whilst not a great game, well its shnizen actually in my opinion. You do get to change the 'jobs' of the characters like in Tactics, Well not much like tactics...I should really of thought what i was going to say before i started writing shouldnt i, i havnt the heart to delete the text.

Anyway, if you buy it i'd keep the reciept. Worth a go incase you do like it but i thought it wasnt that good.

there's no harm in trying it but its up to you. i've got it and i like it, its quite a good game for a sequel but its upto you. if you don't like it just give it back, well as long as you can give it back.

I liked being able to change the jobs but i never really got into the storyline. im not sure why perhaps im not persistant enough *hmmm* I may go and try it afterwords. BUT DRAT ive lost my memory card.

if u played and liked FF X then yes its worth it, but if u havent played FF X or u didnt like it then no.

Compared to 10 its not that great. Its good to compleate the story though especially if you have played 10. I did like it though, the side quests where fun and the story was pretty good too.

yes you should buy it. though its not nearly as great as ffx...but what is? though it is shadowed by x i belive it as just as great as any other game. and if the ending really pissed you off then ffx-2 will settle a lot of nerves.

i'd give it a shot, i dont mind it in my honest opinion, you get more variety but you can tell the developers have kind of made generally so girls can play too - all girl characters - not that it bothers me..
