Better KH. 1 or 2?

Okay I looked through most of the threads and didn't see one like this so here goes. Which KH do you like better 1 or? 2 and why of course. I liked KH 1 better because going through each world was a lot more fun. You actually had to look hard for the treasure chest and some were difficult to get to or required the high jump or glide ability, not like in 2 where they were directly to your left or right when passing by. Also the worlds in KH2 felt so episodic, there were not any relevant story element in most of them. In KH1 you would bump into Rikku at some points. Also besides the Nobodies, KH2 felt rather predictable which took away from the excitement. All right your thoughts.

Edit: I just realized that this thread needs to be moved to the KH section. I'm not sure how to do it or if I even can do it. If you know how then go ahead.

I liked KH2 better,its story was way better it could leave you in shock more then KH1 it also explained more and Sora and Rikku and Kairi looked and sounded better.The only thing wrong with KH2 is that the voice acting for some of The FF characters where absulutly horrible!....AERITH...um anyways.

I like KH2 beter. Mainly because they improved alot. i like the new battle system and the ending better too.

KH2 was both an improvement and a dissapointment. First of all, the battle was extremely easy. In fact, most of it was button mashing and locking on. It barely got difficullt until near the end, but the fact that they added that "Special Attack" thing that would be needed to kill the boss(es) just takes all the fun out of it. Plus the world's weren't as extensive as they were in KH1.

It just feels to me they made KH2 into a promotional game for Advent Children and the story wasn't even as deep as one would think. Course anyone who has played mostly the late games of FF before they were even there when the much older games came out would think otherwise. Not to mention every world I went too BORED THE HELL OUT OF ME! Without the extention there was only a few things to do; fight, make whatever work, fight mini-boss, add to the story, and then fight the boss. There was one or two things in the story that were actually interesting, but overall it doesn't really live up to KH1 at all. Though the funniest point was when Goofy got knocked the shit out of him with that large rock, lol. That was pwnage.

And one thing about this game is all the FF7 fanboys/girls are going to rage over this game like nerds at a star wars convention. Eventually their "love" for it will make the game overrated, much like FF7 itself. Sad world.

I thought kh2 had a better storyline than kh, but i found the bosses were way too easy. the bosses in kh were harder and more of a challenge which made the game more fun. but kh2 had that overdrive thing which is so cool. its hard for me to decide

Kh2 was better and why the because??Because it has Roxas !!It has better graphics comparing to KH1.The battling system was more advanced and soundtracks are really good.But the storyline was a little obvious to me.But more importantly,IT HAS ROXAS !!!WOOT !!

KH 2 got my vote.

I agree about the voice acting... but I love both of them. Both of their story lines were great.

well it comes close... kh2 had a way better battle system than kh1. but kh1 seemed harder than kh1. the problem was i beat the game in 4 days on expert.... the storyline seemed fat paced and i didnt really get to enjoy the game as much. i still cant decide.....

Alot of people I know say KH2 is better. I don't know for sure but it seems like its much better also I saw some screenshots and it looked much cooler as well.

KH2 was better. The battle system was much more fun, and the drive forms were awesome. The other reason is Organization XIII! They are the best "bad guys."But the real reason KH2 is better is that it had Roxas and Axel!!

I've got to go with Kingdom Hearts 1. I like the original because it was just that "original" It was a great new idea to use both Final Fantasy Characters and Disney Characters in the same game, it had never been done and the game was created brilliantly! I still remember the first time I saw the cover and was like what in the world FF and Disney this can't be real? I even shelled out $50 dollars to buy it I was so amazed! I'm happy I did because it was a great game.

I could never choose between these two masterpieces. One was harder, yes. We also got to fall in love with the characters in 1. In 2 I already had that conection with them and it was only more fully enhanced by the deep story they gave it. It is true that each of the worlds seemed more like it's own little story, but that just left you longing for the real story scenes. Then you'd always be drooling before those kinds of scenes would be over.

I love them both and I couldn't choose.
