Simpsons vs Futurama
Before someone says it, I know the two shows are completely different.
I just want to know which people think is better and was it fair to axe Futurama because it was 'too' like the Simpsons(which is a massive lie). I prefer Futurama it was more funny(in my opinion) than the Simpsons and graphically speaking, pretty much all of the 3-D shots were brilliant.

Personally I like Futurama better. I think it is funnier and way better. I think the Simpsons are annoying.

I think sacrificing the ability to do shows in a day with computer technology is what lost Simpson's power to be funny. I grew up on Simpsons for years and loved it, but it lost it's taste during the last like...3-5 years. Futurama was definitely great though, Bender is the shiznit.

The Simpsons is silly, annoying and overrated. A show, mainly based on the idiocy of this fat yellow dude who's most used word was "D'oh!"
Futurama was okay, I guess. It got very annoying after a while, though... I'm not really a fan of tv shows. I prefer anime to this kind of thing, to be honest.

I used to like the Simpsons.. though the show got kind of tired for me. It just seemed that the episodes started recycling the same things, over and over again.
Futurama was a bit of fresh air, mixed in with a bit of simpsonesque humor. That made for a bit of old-school nostalgia. I like it.

I really like both shows, but watching old seasons of the Simpsons over again my friends' house and with my brother, I am reminded of my childhood, which is always a plus. Back in the day, the Simpsons was a brilliant show. Even though it has gone down hill in recent years, think about this; Futurama didn't get the chance to go downhill. It was made by the same creator, too.
I very much doubt that Matt Groening had much to do with the writing for the Simpsons in these last few years (or Conan O'brien, who was one of the writers for the Simpsons in its early years. Coincidentally, he was a writer for SNL, as well, when it was in some of its best years... hmm...) I really think that Matt Groening is a funny and wise man. You can definitely see it if you read his old "Life in Hell" cartoon strips. He's gotta be one of my heroes. Wuv, Yer Mom

I actually like both shows. I grew up on the Simpsons, I used to watch them everynight which was great. I don't like it as much as I used to though. The old episodes are still fun to watch but the new ones in my opinion are ridiculous. The Simpsons are on right now here actually lol. It's one of the Halloween episodes.
My favourite out of the two though would have to be Futurama. It's really funny and the characters are all unique and say a lot of random things. Zoidberg and Bender would be my favourite characters because they are ridiculous but funny. The 3D shots in the show are awesome, I love seeing them. It has a lot of witty humour in it which I love as well! Futurama gets my vote!

I've seen almost every episode of the simpsons {DVDs} and I still love it more. The only reason I like Futurama is because I haven't seen all them and it's fresh to me.

I voted that i liked both about the same but then i thought about it and while i really like The Simpsons alot i liked Futurama a lot more. Bender and Zoidberg were really funny and i liked how the characters interacted. I also liked the show more and i still watch the reruns on Adult Swim. It is just an awesome show. ..............Should have voted Futurama

I'm very surprised that most people have said Futurama. I have never found Futurama that funny at all. The newer Simpsons episodes are, admitingly, getting a bit stale, but seasons 3 to 10 or so are classic. I have the DVDs for seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 and I can still watch them without any boredome. I wouldn't even buy Futurama DVDs.

Well I grew up with the Simpsons, at the time I watched it because it was the funniest thing on I could watch. But after watching it again it gets real boring, its all about Homer and he's just an oaf.
I like Futurama currently cause its new and it goes a bit further than the simpsons but not too much. I don't get to watch it though because my brother wants to watch dragonball Z
