Most annoying Lucavi demon

i would have to say Queklain, because hes always doing status changing attacks. It probably took me about 5 tries to actually kill him, because all he did was that stupid petrification attack!!

lol that's qua-- something lol that attack, I believe, is called Nightmare. And the most annoying one is when you fight your brother, not zlbag, the other gay one lol anyways, i hate him because it's all like "Oh, i'm solid hahaha" and then the battle is so easy! i hate people who act tough and they're not!

Velius, hands down. Just because you end up finishing Wiegraf, and he suddenly summons those monsters, and Ramza ends up right being surrounded by them... Fortunately your guys come in here, which makes the battle about fair.

Queklain's your first Lucavi fought, so it makes sense he's that hard, especially because of Nightmare, but he's alone, so...power comes in numbers. I must say, except for Wiegraf's battles, and the first battle in Dorter, the game was pretty easy. With, or without Orlandu.

Agreed, Velius.

Wiegraf himself is more than a match for Ramza. He's got an overpowered 100% accurate sword attack and top-of-the-line armor, you've got your main character who has to go solo. Wiegraf even has Maintenance set, so you can't steal/break his weapon like you could Gafgarion's. A Chamelion Robe makes this fight a bit more fair, but he's still the favorite. Unless you resort to the cheap "Yell and run around like heck" tactic, beating this guy takes a pretty serious amout of skill and planning.

So the first time I fight him, I win by the skin of my teeth (I got lucky and happened to have my Ramza set to ninja at the time), and Ramza's sitting there keeling over at low HP... and suddenly, out pops a Zodiac Demon with 1000+ HP and 3 Archaeodemons for backup. OMGWTFBBQ??? Even with my team added to the battle, I got owned pretty hard.

These days that's one of my favorite battles in the game, because unless you plan REALLY well and make every turn count, you're pretty sure to get owned. My closest battle of all time took place in the Velius fight... I don't remember whether I've posted the play-by-play of it anywhere on this board, but if you're interested in seeing it lemme know.

Velius, hands down. Especially because of the one on one with Wiegraf that happens first that is such a jerk of a battle, especially the first time you play it and aren't ready for it. And if you only have one save slot it has a real potential to make you restart the entire game. And with all the leveling up I do, that's an awful situation to be in.
