Can I get some help?

I am stuck at the moving wall boss.

My characters range from level 33-35.

I try everything, but in the end, I get owned by this spell he casts that kills a character instantly.

Simple enough, this is what I went ahead and did;


-Berserk'd Cecil (by Rosa casting it on him, or by using Bacchus)

-Rosa was on Curing duty, PLUS, Blink is a very handy tool here.. if you feel you have the time to do so, cast Blink on Rosa and then on other members. Casting Slow too also gives you more time to knock the EvilWall down.

-Kain was Jumping, nothing else.

-Edge was throwing every possible throw-able item in the Inventory, it deals some fairly decent damage. Try stock up on Shurinkens back down in the Elban Caves.

-Rydia, well, casting Bio over and over was the best way to spit out garunteed 1000+ damage per cast. Keep an eye on her MP tho.


Worked for me, but my levels were averaged between 33-38.

ya basicly do what Dawezy said. I beat him by attacking with Cecil and Kain and Edge(after i used all his mp by using blitz). I used Rosa 2 attacks or cast healing spells=blink,shell and protect. Ryida casted Bio or used her summon powers to get Levithan 2 come and kill it.

Alright...I defeated him...but I need to know a couple more things:

1) Where do I get the rattail for that guy to get the adamant?

2) Whats Cecil's best armor?

3) Does Rydia learn LIT 3, FIRE 3, and ICE 3?

1A) In the Land of the Summons village, I'll copy some text direct from my site after the other questions.*
2A) Crystal Armour, in regards to stuff you can attain out of chests.
3A) Yes, Levels 45, 42 and 39 respectively.


* Well its technically the 4th level of the Cave of Summons, but this is the make it standout from the rest of my crappy writing. As soon as you enter you should go around in a Clockwise fashion to get all these items, they stand out so I need not give you directions ~ chests in order; [Ether1, Bestiary, Rat Tail*, 5000g, 6000g].. *to get that Rat Tail you need to get on that teleporter, goto the next level, then come back down the teleporter so you can head South to get the chest. There is one treasure I haven't listed though, its a secret room that is simple enough to get to, so make your way around to that chest at the South end of the floor.

But what about the pinktail? I know you get them from the pinkpuffs in the final dungeon but i don't know what room they are in...

I am also playing the GBA version which has the hard-type game. I was just wondering what level should I be before I enter the Elfs cave?

Around 20-30. The elf starts out hard. Until Edward(Spoony Bard) plays the harp and you are able to draw your sword. Use the current sword in your inventory. Re-Equip every one and battle him. Keep attacking him.(Tellah heal or black magic) He will turn into a Dragon. Edwards harp stops playing. He is easy his hit points starts 3000-4000 HP. Keep attacking. And then you finished him off. Then go back to Toria and tell the 8 sisters about it. THEN... the redwing will come and you have to go to the Tower of Zot. Make sure you save outside. Phew....

well the way i beat him was i berserkd cecil summoned leviatan darted every wepon for edge and had rosa calling, but also i was at about level 45 by then
