Did you ever question Brahne's behaviour before you knew the truth about her relation with Kuja? I did. I couldn't understand why she was being so greedy and mean. She seemed so cold and distant to Garnet, her daughter, so naturally I assumed that there was something completely wrong. Brahne eventually went all nuts, and her greed consumed all goodness in her. I actually find her story somewhat sad. She was a victim of Kuja's evil schemes, and she didn't really know what she was doing. Any thoughts on the subject? No spam or pointless comments.

i didn't think about it because at the begining i asumed she was the bady (i uess that is a word for it) and therefor just thought she was evil and as for garnet as daughter i was always asuming adoption.

At first, I also thought she was the main bad guy...gal...thingy. Her appearance and attitude, I also thought she wasnt really human. I just didnt know a human could be so ugly...

Her story was somewhat interesting, but it took someone to really sit there and think about it to realise it. They could have gotten into it much more. Most of the time you just saw her using other people to get what she wanted. Which is fine, but it would have been so much better if she was behind all of them. Sorta like Kefka, ya never really saw him KILL people directly but instead youd see him use an army, or

But just that allowed you to see how insane he was. If she had been behind any of her lackeys, it would have given chance for dialougue between her and garnet that would have deepened the story of her drive for power and the relation between her and her daughter.

I thought from the beginning she was bad. I still dont' understand completely whether she was the one responsible for her greediness. I realize Kuja was manipulating her, but I don't remember exactly if she was the one who sought him out or if he just showed up to her and changed her.

when i first saw her i didnt take much notice of her i was more focused of garnet, i only realised she was evil when she was talking to zorn and thorn about sending the black waltzes after garnet and the others

It is somewhat sad, but that's what happens to weak people, others can manipulate them. So, it basically is her own fault, not Kuja's so much, even though he did add fire to her greed. But, that's just the ramblings of me.

I have to agree, you do think that she is the main villian at the begining. She sends the black waltz's after you. Next thing you know she nicks your summons and starts to kill everyone. After that Kuja comes along with a large neon sign saying i'm the real villain (not really but its werid how he just comes out of nowhere). But still it was a bit sad when she died but who cares, good riddens to a ugly queen.
