You install them. You extract the .zip and move the font files to your font folder.
Usually located in: C:\Windows\Fonts\

why cant I change the fonts name? I changed the name before pasting (thus installing) it... but when it was installed it had the original name back...

...Why do you even want to change the font's name? You're not supposed you, silly. -_-; Install it as it is. You don't rename the fonts.
