TFF Family

Hello there Members, Staffers, and General Guests.

I have been talking with a few other members, some Senior and some Junior about the craze that we had so long ago. Im talking about the intricate level of relationships that we dubbed TFF Families. It was very complex, and really fun. We had RP's all the time about weddings and parties. Family reunions and other such events that fostered a much greater sense of camaraderie then I fell we have today.

What I propose is a having a Sub-Forum, or even just a Stickied thread for now perhaps that I can use to start organizing that family network again. I feel that it would be both beneficial to TFF's members and TFF as a whole.

If you have any concerns or suggestions please bring them up to me. I do hope that this request will be discussed at least to some extent between the staff.

It may expand upon the already growing craze of noobie adoptions that I've seen going on if thats something people want to do.

Okay, but exactly where would you propose we put this sub-forum? It certainly won't go here in Forum Announcements -- I'm trying to keep this area 100% business only. I was just about to move your thread before I even read it.

I don't mind the idea, though.

yeah, Im sorry I posted it here. I thought I was in another Forum...But really i don't see much a place to post topics like this.

Anyways, as far as the SubForum goes I would put it in the Members Area. I think that is the place which best suits the Family Idea. Im not sure if you would put it as a sub forum of General Chat or clubs maybe.

Members, as in New Members?

I have also been considering changing NM to more of a coming and going area... in that regard, it would fare well as a subforum of that section. Lots of people do goodbye threads, and they put them in GC and then everyone whines about it, so it's just as well.

I'm off to a baseball game though, so I'll consider some of this stuff whenever I get home in six hours or so. Going with friends, dunno when I'll be back.

Since I kinda saw this pulled up a little here, I'll say it in this topic.

We should ave a subforum that's for suggestions and such. We have on in my other forum. Whenever somebody has an dea on how to improve the site or something is wrong with the site, we post it there and talk about how we can use the idea or fix the problem.

We can put the families in the RP section. I think that would be a good place for it.

RP section...eh, Maybe. The TFF Family really is kinda an all across the forum kinda deal. Little bit different then just always Rping.

There used to be a suggestion forum..that was a while ago though.

This specific forum is for the staff to provide you, the members, with updates about the site and the forum. That's it. It's nothing any more complex or complicated than that. Simply put, I'm asking that if you're not a staff member or someone with a great suggestion, you don't post new threads here.

As far as I'm concerned, this qualifies as a good suggestion.

There's no need for a separate forum for a bunch of people to suggest things that have already been suggested, tried, declined, used, etc., in the past. Many things have run through this forum, and they can all be found listed in here somewhere. If someone has an excellent new suggestion, I have no problems with them mentioning it here.

Ok, I'll remember that. And I'm guessing if there's a problem or maby a smaller suggestion that sombody might want to ask, they can refer to an admin, right?

I don't really like the idea of putting it in the RP area either. Because it really is something that is all over the forum, and only sometimes an RP event.
