The Sopranos

Does no one watch this here? I would imagine, between the fact that it is a mob show, a family drama, and a critique on the human mind there would be other people here hooked on this show.

Two weeks until the season finale. I really cant wait. Someone here should watch it.

Absolutely love the Sopranos. It's easily one of the best shows on TV, right beside Entourage. Anyways, this current season is great. The family is going to shambles, and this next episode is gonna be amazing. Hopefull AJ will get a bit more involved with the family, cause he's been a ****up for far too long... Uncle June... crazy old bastard.

Im tired of hearing people complain this season isnt good. You are spot on.

The best thing about this show is that the seasons never end upbeat for the family, and by now, both Tonys mob family and his natural family are falling apart. And it looks like we might finally see a Jersey - New York war.

I use to watch the show for quite a while then stoped but watched it last night, the episode when Tony was with Chris's fiancee and his truck slid over cause of that racoon, then they all think she was sucking him off, quite amusing and interesting stuff, its and old Episode though. I havent seen the latest season, I think the last Episode I saw was with that huge house on the Ocean or something, after they broke up, is that were you guys are up to?

The car crash with the raccoon was the fifth season, the show with the beach house was the fourth season finale, "Whitecaps". The sixth season finale is next Sunday.

The Beach house is just before they split up? Hrmm I got confused, they went out to dinner as a couple on that episode, and that guy that they killed was in it, I thought that happened way before they split up. Well I dunno but we are up to the 5th Season here, dont know why the 6th season hasnt played. Id get the DVDs but I am buying Anime atm.

spoilers ahoy, but not too many

The beach house was the end of episode 4, but Tony lived in it from time to time during episode 5, when he was split up with his wife. Season six spans a good two years, without even mentioning it. Basically, season six starts off about a year after the end of season five. Johnny Sack, the NY boss is in prison awaiting his RICO trials (he later pleads guilty, and gets 15 years in federal prison, but the major issue is that he confirms the existence of the mafia in NY and NJ... before he pleaded guilty, the government knew that the mafia was there, but they couldn't really do anything to stop it). Anyways, Tony and his wife had reconciled at the end of season 5, where Tony promised to stop having sex with other women, and to build Carmella a spec house for $600,000 if she would take him back. She does, and season 6 takes place a year later, when everything is hunky dory. Then he gets shot by Uncle June, almost dies, but recovers fully. By the time his is back to 100% the timeline advances another year, which happens between the 4th and 5th episodes.

Sorry if it's confusing, but I think that should clear it all up, at least in regards to the timeline.

Spoilers indeed, lol.

So I am guessing the Racoon is near the end of season five? Perhaps that was another guy, but remember how they beat that guy (I think it was in a bath), Chris friend and they chuck him in a body bag and throw him in a river, when did that happen?

I thought I would bring this back for tonight.

As most of you know, tonight is the finale. What are you expecting? How do you feel about the last couple of episodes?

I thought Tony would die for sure, but I am starting to think he is going to make it. How about you all?

I didn't even know a Soprano thread existed. The finale was dumb. When the screen went black I thought my cable went out or something. My thoughts it that they would go out with a bang with Tony or Carmela or someone close to Tony dying. I heard there is now going to be a movie in the makings though.

The funny thing is Hilary Clinton did a voting ad based on the how the Soprano ends. It was stupid, but funny.
Hilary: "Where's Chelsea?"
Bill:" Parallel Parking."
*Shows the scene in the Sopranos when Meadow tries to parallel park* >.<
