FFTA- Repetitive?

Did anyone else find FFTA kinda... repetitive?

I only played a certain way into the game (quite a substantial amount of it) before becoming kinda... bored. I'm thinking of trying again soon; does it become less repetitive eventually, as the storyline really starts to kick in?

Hmm, what aspect about it is repetitive?
I dunno, personally I liked the game, and the
battle system.
My beef with FFTA was that it was just too
easy >< I just wish the game was more of a
challenge when it came to fighting. I mean
besides the laws, I just wanted stronger
enemies!
Anyways, if you are talking about the repetitiveness
of the battle system, with the same stages and
the same types of enemies, then I'd have to say yes,
but it didn't really bother me too much.

Yeah, that's the main aspect which was. I think I would have really enjoyed it if I hadn't got so frustrated with the battles. As I said, im considering giving it another go...

You really should. The game is really good. I particularly didn't care about, nor notice the repetitiveness because I was just concentrating on playing the game.

Anybody who notices stuff like that is just nitpicky. Or.. something. =P

I started playing FFTA for about 2 hours or so....

I got so bored. Too easy. Too repetitive.....

Haven;t touched it since. The lack of an early plot sort of turned me off..

That kinda sums up my feelings.

When I got bored of it, the storyline had started to take off- but rather slowly. The main thing I wanna know is whether or not the storyline gets good later on in the game, and whereabouts through the game it gets good.

And yeah, I spose I am kinda nitpicky

Hrm... I'm in the middle of another go at it, and for me, the plot gets better with the introduction of Llednar. And yeah, I'm starting to lose interest in it...the battles are just too similar. It desperately needs some more variety.

Well, if the plot gets better, I might give it another shot, seeing as I'll have a bit of extra time atm to play...

It is easy but only repetitive if you play loads at once, I played it in chuncks and it was fine, a bit like FF:CC.

well kind of

The story does let you get some characters that you've probably seen already but the only thing i find repetitive is the laws they go in a circle kind of thing and it's the ones i don't like so i guess..........kinda

That's an idea... I could play it in chunks. Although the danger of that is that I might completely forget everything about my characters when it comes round to playing it again

Well, the battles are almost the same. However I found more interesting, when Ritz, Ezel, Babus and Shara join your clan.

You see, I don't think I even got to that point. For me, that would improve the game a lot.

I'm really considering playing it again soon
