Garment Grid: Like it or Loathe it?

How did you guys like using the garment grids?

I had a hard time figuring it out at first, but once I figured out that if you changed the dresspheres enough you got certain abilities through going through certain patterns.

Was there a particluar Garment Grid that you favoured above all others?

I thought it was very Simple to use. I got used to is pretty quick and easy. The Dresspheres can take time to learn all the Abilities but it can be worth it in the end.

Yeah, I like how they brought back the job classes in the form of Dresspheres/Garment Grids. I thought it was much simpler than the grid in FFX.

Then again, I haven't gotten very far in FFX2 yet. >>;

Well keep at it. Final Fantasy X isnt as bad as people make it out to be.

i hated the garment grid i think they mever should have moved on from from the sphere grid but you cant help what happens, and i thought it was to simple.

I didn't really like it either. You had a limited amount of jobs you could put on a grid. I would rather just be able to switch jobs without the garment grid.

I liked the idea of being able to change jobs but I'm the biggest fan of the Garment Grid. I preferred the Sphere Grid in FFX, I thought it was a lot easier to use. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the Garment grid properly, I think I'm starting to get the hang of it lol. I guess it's not that difficult but I am slow with those types of things.

it was easy to use, but, i did still prefer the materia system and the draw system from FFVII and FFVIII, although i prefered them it was alround easy system to use and it had some powerful thing that could be dont to do it, E.g. this combination: Dark knight and 'Strength +20' i thought this made it immensely strong!

I vastly prefer the sphere grid. I'm odd. I like the sense of strategy and progress, and having it all in a unified system, instead of always having almost-but-not-quite some of the things one wants (every grid being so limited in use).

i can understand why you like it better... the strategy side of thing really changes the game

as for the garment grid...terrible!

it way easy to use and understand. i thought it was alright, but really different from what i was use to using in previous final fantasy games.

I thought it was a nice new approach at the game. It did take me a little time to figure it out. The only thing I missed was the uses of different charters, but other wise I liked it.

I love the idea, but I think they should have had more classes, ff3j and ff5 have more classes than this game.
