Adore this anime. Its one of those rare animes me and my boyfriend have watched together. We even named our chinese dwarf hamster Edward cause we didnt know if she was male and female, she was female in the end! The movie is ok, but I prefer the TV series. I put off watching the ending for ages and I cried when I finally watched it. My fav characters are Edward and Faye-faye The OST is excellent also.

I never really liked this show. I watched a few episodes and it got kind of sick of it. I would rather watch some different show.

I love this show to death, or something. I dunno. It was just a cool show. It didn't have the typical over-the-top "OMG this is anime and everything we do has to be intense!" feeling to it. All of the characters acted more or less like normal people might. There was also no overly-thorough explanation to why things were like they were; that's just how life was. All those colonies where people lived, how the space ships worked, the shape the Earth was in, Spike's eye, Jet's cyborg arm, etc. Those things were all left to mystery, and we went straight to the character interaction. Plus some cool explosions, bullets, and martial arts action.

I think Spike was my favorite character. He was a cool guy; so laid back and care free. You might say he was the opposite of most anime heroes. I also liked Jet a lot, too. "You're being obnoxious!" Heh. I loved it when he kept on telling people that, including the dog.

I think I liked the movie more than most people did. I think I liked it more than random episodes taken from the series, although the series was good, too. The movie itself just had more time to develop the story, and deal with more characters and with what was going on. I think my favorite episodes were the ones that came just before the end, like the one with that assassin guy. My favorite song from the series was "Call Me, Call Me;" it's probably one of my favorites period, actually. Here's a video of it. I don't know if I completely appreciate the selection of scenes they used for it (like they kept on using that scene where Spike's falling out the church window) but the song is still cool.

Just coincidentally saw Episode 1. I got into anime around when Samurai Champloo ENDED so I was late for this one. Just started watching it. Good stuff.

Someday I'll have to buy the series. I've only watched some episodes, all out of order and in japanese and english...which are both good. I love the art, it's fantastic, and the characters are awesome.

Ed is fantastic. But yesh...monies...must buy. I want to catch them all.

It's quite the excellent Anime. I love how they put Bruce Lee's 'Jeet Kune Do' fighting style as Spike's main Marital Art. Since I know quite a bit about this style... it eases my mind to se that they did not overdo it. I also love the hatred between Spike and Vicious. After Vicious' TV debut in the fifth episode... "Ballad of Fallen Angels" I was hooked.

This is by mar one of my most favorite Animes, along with Evangelion, Samurai Champloo and TRIGUN.

I've watched the majority, if not all of the Cowboy BeBop series and I must say that i love it's funk/blues mix with the gunslinging bounty hunters in space ships chasing criminals who are in most cases entirely too ridiculous for their own good. But at the same time there are plots and sub plots that tie everything together along with elements of you can never go home again and you can't escape your destiny.

This was probly the second anime I ever got into. I remember watching the last episode and almost crying. Im happy that [AS] hasn't just thrown it aside and they keep playing it. I think that they should make a game out of it!
