so what do you think of seymour guado?
I've been wondering if there's anyone else out there that really actually likes him XD. I think he's the most interesting character in the game, personally. He was interesting and fun to battle, and I think had the most intricate storyline. He definitely deserves more of a good reputation in my opinion.
Alot of people argue that he just didn't make a good bad guy... I didn't even view him as one. To me he was really just doing what he thoguht was right, and there's definitely an element of truth in everything he says during the game. I think you guys missed the point/reasoning behind Seymours character and his actions. Seymour was not at all evil. Nor was he nessasarily(spelling?) good. Sure he had a troubled child hood. But by the time he's shown in the game the person he was is dead. He's simply following what he believes, fighting to end humanity, which in turn ends suffering. It's a true statement, but he sees life as a great suffering, he dosn't understand the the little things that make life enjoyable. Which going back returns to his negative childhood.

Seymour is evil to me. Plotting to marry Yuna? Nonsense. For that one reason, i have lost all respect for him. The one time hes good, is when you get to fight with him. other than that, hes a person who thinks he can get anything by force. humph. And he calls himself a maester and a summoner.

I couldn't stand this dipshit.
I mean, his entire look bothered me, I mean, what is with the deep, plunging neckline anyways??? And his voice bothered me (much like Yuna's voice as well) and I dunno... he just seemed like a little bitch to me. Who cares if he had a troubled childhood? i think seymour is the best boss in the whole game i also think he is the hardest boss in the game he is the best villian i have ever seen in any video game!!!!!

Funny and stupid. I mean he thought he was smart but he is really stupid really. He was mean and annoying I mean you had to fight with him more than twice. His voice was annoying and his hair looked stupid. Anything else that Im missing?

I also found him annoying sometimes. He killed his father which is just plain evil and he thought he was so good. I thought he was alright but he was disturbing sometimes. I guess he was misunderstood a lot of the time but I really wasn't too fond of him at all. I would love to know how he got his hair like that lol. He wasn't one of my favourite characters but he was okay sometimes. He acted in a weird way which I didn't like.

I hated Seymour. Hated, hated, hated.
So annoying. Always showing up at the wrong time, always ruining my day. He was such a bastard... Fighting him was always a pain too. That battle on Mt. Gagazet. Fawk that... In my eyes, he was the true villian of FFX. Sin and Jecht were just the sideshow. Seymour was evil. He killed his dad for christ's sake. That's the last straw. There are some serial murderers out there that wouldn;t go as far as wackin' family members... And the whole wedding thing. That was manipulation. Complete and total control was taken over Yuna, at a time when she was the most vulnerable... I am glad I got to kill him.
