Who do u think is better Zidane or ViVi

Who do yall think is better in combat Zidane or Vivi?

I would have to give it to my man zidane on this one.

Zidane is the better one in combat. He doesn't require alot of MP to do high damage attacks, he can use dual blades which is a plus and he does 9999 damage with his GRAND LETHAL attack, Vivi can't do that.

Zidane can do 9999 with grand lethal (and physical attacks) but Vivi can do 19998 damage with double black and casting flare twice. Vivi is stronger in combat, plus he has better magic defence. I also prefer Vivi as a character. He's quiet, innocent, and curious. When he is caught up in hardships he manages to pull through, plus hes so darn cute!

I think both are vital, but when it comes about damage vivi is the best. When not in trance zidane can do max damage only to one enemy, but vivi's doomsday can affect everybody plus that doomsday can heal you if you have shadow absorb.

At the start of the game, I would say that Zidane is the best, but as you progress and Vivi's skills widen he overtakes him. It really depends on who u have in you party, i.e. if you take Vivi around with you.

Well, they are both good at different things. Vivi is a strong black mage, and can help Steiner with sword magic. While Zidane is the stronger attacker. Both of them have powerful Trance moves, however Vivi's can be more powerful depending on which spell you use. The problem with Vivi is though, is that some enemies and bosses absorb/take no damage from cartain black magic spells. Overall though, i'd say Zidane was more powerful. Simply because i prefer physical attacks and Zidane can become very powerful ver quickly given the right amount of training.

I'd have to say Zidane coz he was always on a higher level for me.
Vivi took more damage too.

It depends to your style of play. Zidane if you favour plain wade in and decapitate, or vivi for a more tactical magic approach.
Zidane in terms of physical was second only to steiner, and his trances on disk 2 became almost guaranteed 9999 damage attacks. But hindered by one person damage radius.
Vivi in trance as mentioned can hit for 19998 damage, and normally for 7000+ damage easily too many foes.
However for long winding battles I'd say Zidane takes it. If Vivi ran out of mp he became near useless, whereas Zidane relied little on mp for excellent damage physically.
Also as said different bosses different styles. I believe vivi was near useless agains't Ark due to status.
Both should be in your squad, as when i included Vivi i noticed a dramatic jump in power. But overall I believe Zidane should be favoured.

I would say Vivi is stronger if you get him the right spells. But if you don't get him like doomsday or flare Zidane would be WAY better. I would almost say that at the end of the game Zidane would be one of the weaker characters.

i prefer Vivi as a character, he is just so damn cool, but for me Zidane is more effective in combat but only a little better, so overall i prefer Vivi

I have my likes and dis likes about both VIVI and zidane but zidane is the better of the two

both mine are 99 so its vivi 4tw because as valintine 89 well said 19998 i so much better than the occational grand leathal.
