mine is that Squall and riona are in fact brothers/sisters because:

Riona is the daughter of Raine.
squall is the real brother to ellone who is laguna's daughter.
rinoa is laguna/raine's daughter

this means that they are half-brothers/sisters

All of that is not right. I'm 100% sure that Rinoa is the daughter of Julia and General Caraway. And Ellone isn't Laguna's daughter. Ellone's parents were killed when she was little. Raine took care of Ellone afterwards. Also, Raine died after giving birth to her son, which is evidently Squall, with Laguna being the father, (they got engaged before she gave birth). Evidently, Squall is Raine and Laguna's son. The game gives many clues and hints to that.

Um, where are these theories coming from? For one, Laguna says that hes going to tell Ellones parents how good of a kid she was being in Winhill, so she cant be his daughter. General Caraway is Rinoas dad, its sort of obvious. He would of said something to Rinoa by now if she was adopted. Besides, where would you get that? That would make Rinoa and Squall half-brothers... which would be just gross.

If laguna hadent gone to war when he actually talked to the pianoist girl them she might be his daughter because they were talkin about gettin together but he had to leave and never returned

Hahaha what an interesting theory. I don't think that could be though. It was clearly stated that General Caraway was Rinoa's father. Julia would be Rinoa's mother. I think that Rinoa kind of resembles her mother. Even though it wasn't stated who Squall's father was, I think it was made obvious that it was Laguna. Raine would be his mother more than likely. Squall looks a lot like his mother in my opinion. Ellone had different parents all together. I can't really remember what happened to them but I think it was mentioned somewhere in the game.

I don't think Square would create a love story with a half brother and sister. I find that really disturbing lol.

sorry i got it worng julia is riona's mother but she was born only 7 monts of meeting caraway and she met him just after laguna left town.

That's so not true, I bet Julia had Rinoa as soon as General Caraway got to know her. I've never even thought that Squall would be the son of Laguana, but there are these facts. Ellone is the sister of Squall, Ellone is the ADOPTED niece of Laguna. Therefore Squall would have to be an adopted nephew of Laguna and Raine, it makes them impossible to be adopted by blood.

They aren't related. It would have been Julia and Laguna if Laguna hdn't left and never came back. So just cut those two away from eachother. They only met olone once and we saw it ourselves so that right there disproves it all.
