Yeah, I liked Clerks the best. It was whitty comedy, and Randall is my favorite View Askew character. But ya know what the sad thing was? Dante wasn't even supposed to be there that day!!!

It's too bad Kevin Smith decided to retire Jay and Silent Bob -- look what happened to his "serious" movie Jersey Girl.

But I have to admit "Strikes Back" is an appropriate ending to the two Bill & Ted rejects.
Personally I always thought Bill & Ted weren't that funny (I wonder what Keanu Reeves would say about the character nowadays if someone asked him).

anyways..snootchie bootchies!!!

Best line about Jay: (paraphrased)

Dgoma, Chris Rock:

Chris Rock: You beat off more then any man on the planet!

Jay:So? everybody knows that.

Chris Rock: When you do it, you're thinking about guys!

He did? I heard that he's working on a movie called "Revenge of the Clerks" or something like that... shame shame...

I thought Mallrats was friggin' hilarious. I liked Clerks too but Dante was way too annoying. I still have yet to see Chasing Amy.... but I have seen the other movies except Jersey Grrl, which I will avoid.

I'm glad he has joined the Mad TV writing team. Snoogins!

Unforunately I've only seen Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but they're two of the few films I've watched repeatedly. I really want to see the others. I've been keeping an eye out and Clerks is on sale, but the only place selling it is a half hour away and we don't go there often. I haven't seen Mallrats or Chasing Amy anywhere though. I'll probably have to go Dublin to get them, but whatever.

Clerks 2 is coming out this year, but I don't know anything else about it.

Any ideas on the plot of Clerks II? I'm sure now it'll be a good production and let's hope the ambience and interrelationship of the characters isn't spoiled by big-budget money.

Not much is known about Clerks II yet, but it's supposed to be good according to people who've seen previews of it. Wiki has really good articles on the entire View Askew universe, if you wanna check it out.
