how did you defeat ultima weapon

i have beaten but i am intersted in ways you defeated this boss
first i use meltdown
then i got Riona to do Invicibile moon then i got squall limit break as well and then i did Zell duel as well my final heaven hurted him a lot then when the invicible wore off i used a hol war and then finished

by the end of it he was deeated and i won yippee lol

I used one duel right after Squall drew Eden and it went down like nothing. Gotta love duel.

I think I used doomtrain drew Eden and then just used Limit Breaks

I defeated him with a lot of difficulty lol. I think I casted Meltdown first and just hit him with limitbreaks. I think it took me a couple of times to defeat him but I got there alright in the end. I used Squall's Lionheart and it made it easier. I found it difficult trying to keep my party alive! It was annoying. Oh and of course I drew Eden from him first.

Which reminds me, I did beat him the first time but I had to do it again because I forgot to draw Eden. I got so angry lol. I had to fight him again just to get a guardian force.

Well this fight can be done a ton of ways anyways here's how I do it. What I did was a couple things. I wasn't at level 100 yet so what I did was I refined my Laguna card to get 100 hero's. Which yes is cheap, but I figure a win's a win so I didn't mind. I then did that and also here's the other thing I did. I had drawn Aura from Seifer by then with 3 people who all had 100 of them drawn, so I repeatedly would use them. And if memory serves correct Aura doesn't work on them if they're invincible. So you have to wait a few seconds and get that out of the way, but hey it worked for me. Well I hope my cheap technique helps a bit.

I drew Eden and then 300 ultima out of him then cast meltdown followed by a few of Zells duels.

I approached Ultima Weapon after recieving Eden at Ultimecia's castle from one of the bosses(Hint, hint for those of you missing the drawable GFs- you can draw them from any of the bosses), so thus, I didn't need to waste a turn drawing Eden.

First, I had Squall use Defend, to prevent virtually any damage. Selphie casted Aura on Squall. Irvine casted Meltdown on Omega Weapon. Then I usually have Squall use Renzokuken(I was fortunate one game to get Lionheart on the first try. That was pretty awesome, as the boss was felled that turn). Then I had Irvine use a Holy War. Selphie summoned Eden, rinse, repeat. Use Selphie's recover command when needed.

Also, by drawing Eden prior, I managed to recieve 100 Ultima Stones(saved me many a trek on Island Closest to Hell/Heaven), and the Eden card, which was a plus, since it is common fact that if you draw the GF, you may only recieve the card, and Ultima Stones if you do not- though, this may have been related to the fact that I had Rare Item equipped. I only tried the Drawing Eden beforehand/Rare Item combo and none of the methods separate, so I apoligize if you don't achieve the same results.

Though, it would have been nice to draw Ultima nine at a time, it would be quite risky as there are far less risky/less time consuming ways to recieve it by refining.

Ah... I used to love the challenge of Ultima. Now I propose a challenge to you. Do it without Aura, Meltdown, GF's and invincibility techniques. It is extremely hard but it can be done.

Here's a way you can do it.

If you can manage to get either 300 Ultima's or 300 Holies beforehand (the hidden Ultima Draw Point at Shumi Villages costs 5000 Gil to use but it gives 7-9 most times) then Junction them to Str or Vit. Have everyone at Lvl 100 also (although the HP's of Ultima and Omega as a result are much higher it helps for stats). Now I use Zell, Irvine and Squall, mainly because of their natural high strength (if you can't get the 300 Ultima's or Holies (something around the 190-220 for Str should do.)) and I also Junction Triple to Spd for all three. You would have drawn this from Cerberus at Galbadia.

All you need have on you other than that is strongest weapons, some Full-lifes or Lifes if nothing else, Haste and a bit of luck. I did it in around 30-35 minutes.
