FF8 Crashes back to desktop pls help
I download a Final Fantasy game for my laptop but when i tried to run it the color goes black then crashes back to desktop then an app.log appear so can anyone can help me run ff8 please ?
 by the way my loptop is windows 98 |

You downloaded FF 8? Do you have a T-1 line or something?
Possible Reasons: A) Your computer's not capable of playing FF 8. B) The file is corrupted. C) Whatever...

You're better off buying the actual game via e-bay or something. One of several reasons is you don't have your color configuration to 32-bit, which I'm pretty sure FF8 requires. Another reason (refering to the app.log) is that the file you downloaded may not have had everything you need for the game in it.

If your laptop is carrying Windows 98, it probably does not have the capability to run Final Fantasy 8. Laptops back then were pretty shitty for gaming, though now they are much much better.
Anyway, I suggest trying to install it on a Desktop with atleast a decent graphics card. If i'm wrong though, feel free to post your specs and then maybe we can work from there.

I'll have to agree with Musa, and say you're better off buying the game. I mean, it's a Greatest Hit, and it's 20$. Hell, it's probably even cheaper now.

i agree, you would be best buying the game because
a. it could be a dodgy download b. your CPU might not have enough power to run the resolution...
