Cursed shield

Hello to everyone out there i was wondering does the cursed shield ever get uncurse because my brother did with a cheat disk but i lost the disk so i was wondering do you need to fight battles or something with it equipped

You have to fight something like... 250 battles with it equipped? I think. Then it will become the Paladin Shield, and it will be bad ass. I'll check for an exact number.

Cursed Shield is about half the page down, cant miss it lol.

You have 2 fight 255 battles with it and it will become the palidin sheild(It teaches u ULTIMA)

Yeah bascially do what the other members said because when you learn Ultima, its great!

You need locke in your party and go to Narshe. have locke pick the locks of the houses and you'll find a guy with the cursed shield (He should be in a bed. I fyou find a guy in a chair then you get the ragnarok sword or esper (you could have only one of it either sword or esper not both)If you find him then just keep checkin other houses

It's a shield that cursed, suprising there I was totally expecting a summon. And yes 255 battles to uncurse it, get it in Narshe if i remember, only way apart from Ragnarok to learn ultima.
On another note? whatever happened to Narshe why was it deserted?

I dunno, but heres a better question for people, watever happened to Banon and Arvis. Its like they were either killed by the judgemnt light or were hiding away somewhere

banon and arvis's fate is left to the players imagination. I don't think it ever says.

Back on topic, yeah, the cursed shield adds every negative status in the book (except stop and petrify I think) and you have to fight 255/256 battles to purify it to the Paladin Shield. This teaches Ultima at 1%, just like the Ragnorok, if you changed the Ragnorok into the sword instead of keeping the esper, this is the only way to teach Ultima (except either Terra or Celes, one of them learns this naturally by leveling)

hehe... love pally shield. Its uber. Evade's almost everything. As others have stated 255-256 battles and its the best shield in the game. Worth it i must say.

Ummm just askin should I use the palden sheild and atma weapon in battle or are they just usless weapons?

i dunno wat happened to arvis or banon but i do know this i got the sheild and by accident i turned it into the pally shield but heres some good info for yall if you wanna turn it in to a slightlly uncursed shield there is a artifact a tricket that u equip with it that nullifies most of the curses (except doom) so go some where that is easy fighting or go to a small desert near the i think its zozo after the judgement light took care of most of the world and fight the cactrots there and there is a hoover there as well make sure you have vanish and doom spells cast vanish on it and then doom it is an instant kill on almost everything this is a good way to break curse and gain gil and xp
