Adoption

I was just wondering. If I was adopted, can I adopt somebody else? Dont get me wrong, Im happy with my adopter I <3 him, but I was just wondering if I could, just in case.

Not that I know or anything, but...

From what I understand of the rules, as long as you fulfil the requirements of becoming an adopter (being registered 3 months, etc.) I wouldn't have thought being in a position of having already been adopted by someone else would matter?

Unless you automatically become "un-adopted" after 3 months, at the time when you're eligble to become an adopter yourself?

(Don't mind me - I'm just trying to be helpful while at the same time increasing my post count...)

You aren't unadopted. Anyway to become an adopter you must have been a member for one month at least, you must be very active, and your posts must be worthwhile. It says everything on the first page of the Adopter Registration in the New Members forum.

Don't the two kind of go hand in hand. I mean if you're allowed to adopt, then you're able to adopt someone else. Sorry if I maybe misunderstood you there but that's the way I'm concieving your post hehe.

Simply Kinney, yes. Adoptee's are not going to be new forever of course, so even though you're an adoptee, you can still apply to be an adopter. You must first fill out the Adopter Registration, and Strong Bad or Neo will approve or dissaprove you depending on the guidelines you meet, and the length of time you've been here.

As your adopter I think you've done just fine here. You don't spam, and your posts generally have useful information for everyone to learn from. If you would like to quote that in your registration so Neo and Strong Bad know my opinion, then be my guest.

I think what Kinney is saying is:

Kinney was adopted when Kinney was a new member. Does this mean that Kinney is now unable to adopt any new members?

I don't think it's true because that would exclude too many people from being able to adopt any new members, and the Adopter thread says nothing about reasons why you can't be an adopter, only requirements you need to become one.

I just answered this in my post above. Adoptee's can become adopters. I was never adopted, but there are people here who have been adopted and are now adopters.

Wow, this is getting confusing. But anyways, the answer is YES Kinney.
