Anyone for Naruto?

Of all the anime shows I've watched over the years Naruto is my favorite next to Inuyusha. Naruto is a funny character, and in a lot of ways he reminds me of me, funny but if you hurt my friends I will get very serious kind of personality. The Jutsu techs that the characters have are awesome like Sasuke's Dragon Flame Jutsu and Naruto's Shadow Clone Jutsu. The Villians are cool and the characters make the story what it is, awesome. So, what do you think about this anime?

I watched some of it. I think its somewhat overrated. But to each their own.

I haven't seen the manga...other than that I think this show is pretty good. I would have to say it's my 4th favorite anime.

I like the Manga better because it doesn't have all those annoying filler episodes.

Anyways, a friend let me borrow like the first 80 episodes(?)
I loved it! Too bad I'm waiting for him to give me the rest.
Shikamaru is my kind of guy

He's cool and extremely smart!
His shadow jutsu is completly worthless, but he finds ways to
make it work out so wellll <3
mm... the lazy side of him, I can do without though

I watch it on Cartoon Network...my internet connection sucks so I can't download Naruto..and I can't really play it on my computer because my Video card really sucks..T_T_T_T

I haven't been keeping up with it, but I did download all the episodes to around 130 about half a year ago. I enjoyed it for the most part, not sure what episode its on now. About time for me to download what I've missed.

A bit overrated albiet, but still fun to watch, if not just to see what all the buzz is about.

I have mixed feelings about Naruto in most of its forms.

I lost a lot of respect for the anime when they started pumping out nothing but fillers in Japan while waiting for the manga to gain some forward distance from them, but I guess I should come to expect that from a mainstream anime. Before that, I had problems with how they were handling the art. I can understand if the art style shifts around due to changes in staff, but the quality of some of the art and animation was absolutely terrible at times.

Beside that, Viz really dropped the ball on the manga translation. I can understand if a translation doesn't turn out exactly the way I want, but "Art of the Doppleganger!"? Give me a break. I'm not sure if they've reprimanded the situation by now, so if there is someone who follows Viz's translation information would be appreciated.

Then, of course, there is the Naruto anime dub. I won't go into that since they're playing it fair and allowing releases of the uncut Japanese sub. That won't change how much I am dismayed with the Naruto anime in general, though.

As for where the manga currently is in Japan...It's alright. I'm not sure if it's because I was just much more of a Narutard when it was first introduced to me by Sean in 2003-2004 (I can't be bothered to remember), but the storyline itself seemed to become less appealing after "Part 1" of the series ended. Of course, it may very well be that things just need time to warm up (which should be expected anyway considering that it's only one new chapter per week), but I could attribute my lack of interest in some way to the fact that Naruto is no longer fresh in my mind. Only time will tell though.

I can't get enough of Naruto. I'm up to episode 164, and I'm loving it so far. It's like it never gets dull, like most animes do. There's lways something awesome happening. Though I will admit, I really didn't enjoy the first few episodes. Around 22-24, things really started to pick up.
