volcanic match (Anyone welcome)

Leo marched up the volcanos path,the burned shrubs lay lifless around him.He was sent here to battle with an unknown warrior.The smell of volcanic fumes stretched for miles,but did not bother leo.

Leo finally reached the top of the volcano and looked back.The black waste land laid forgotten under the ash of the volcano.Leo turned around and was startled to see a person standing on the other side of the volcano.Leo pulled out his sword "Are you my opponent"?

Degra had been prowling around in her tiget form along the path leading down the volcano. She stopped suddenly as she heard the sound of someone heading in her direction. She considered hiding, and maybe changing into her Homid form, but decided against it. She was in a foul mood, and needed an excuse to vent our her anger. Not that she was at the point of uncontrollable rage. If that was the case, the person making their way up the mountain really would know about it.

Degra remembered the last time she was overcome with the 'Rage'. All that was left of her opponent was a heap of skin and bone, not having the slightest semblance it might once have been a living creature. But then again, it wasn't exactly a living creature. It was a vampire.

But she stopped thinking about the past, and started thinking about who this person may be, and what he, she... or it, could be capable of. Not that it would really change anything for the worse. Degra really was in the mood for a good battle, just to let off some steam. So she made her way, gracefully down the path towards where the person.

He was stood with his back towards her, but Degra saw that it was a man. Or at least something with the semblance of a man. The tiger just stood there, staring at the man until he turned around. He seemed startled at the sight of Degra, and his hand immediately went to the hilt of his sword and pulled it out whilst asking if she was his opponent. Degra barred her fangs in a somewhat 'human' smile and nodded her head, pawing at the ground.

She prowled from side to side, fixing her gaze on the man. She halted and let out a loud growl, thumping the ground with a paw and signalling for her opponent to make his move.

"Alright then,"Leo said jumping in the air."Eat this,"Leo said lifting his sword above his head.Leos sword began to glow red.The red orb began to glow a darker red.Leo then swung his sword and it sent a wave fire aura down toward his opponent and then swung it twice more releasing smaller waves."Maybe you will be a challenge,"Leo said with a laugh.

Degra remained stood where she was when her opponent leaped up into the air. This fellow seemed to like talking, even if it was to a seemingly normal looking tiger. Of course, even in her current form, Degra possessed characteristics that are not of any tiger. She merely watched calmly as her opponent swung his sword, sending a wave of some sort of red energy down at her. Without seeming to move, Degra dodged the first attack. For those with keen eyes, they would notice that Degra simply stepped back a little.

The blast created a huge cloud of dust, and the attack was followed by a further two similar attacks, which Degra dodged nimbly.

Degra figured that the dust created from the attacks would obscure her opponent's vision. Not that the cloud would hide her location at all. She just simply wanted the element of surprise. Pushing herself up onto her hind legs, Degra began a transformation. Her fur grew shorter, and then seemed to melt away, only to be replaced by clothes. A brown, leather skirt and brown, knee-high boots and a tank top. Twin axes hung from her belt, and she drew them out silently.

Long, brown hair cascaded down, almost to her shoulders, and she shook it away from her green-yellow eyes. Then she suddenly leaped up into the air, where her opponent should have been. Appearing from the cloud of dust that had hidden her appearance, her opponent would no doubt be startled to see a human female coming up towards him, swinging both her axes. One aimed for his neck, and the other for the man's stomach.
