This question, I couldn't find
You guys, I read about seven pages of this particular forum, and since I couldn't find anything related to my question, I quit looking, sorry.
The question is this: Can I post in threads that aren't in the first page of every forum?. What I mean is that, if I find that there is something I want to post, say in a thread that is the fourth page of any given forum, can I do so without breaking the rules?. I participate in this one forum that doesn't allow you to answer to any thread that hasn't been posted in, in a while, hence the doubt. |

That's exactly why there's nothing about it, because there's no rule against it. Of course, some members will be jackasses and yell at you for reviving an old thread, but I implore you to ignore them. If the topic is worth reviving (i.e. it's not a spammy topic), then by all means, be my guest.
As far as I'm concerned, activity is activity.

Yeah, except necroposting in new member threads is rather pointless and annoying. As for General Chat topics, as long as it was a good thread with good posts, sure, those are okay to revive. But spammy threads? It's better to leave those dead, just for reference.
