1. Abosutely not, I had pretty bad acne going through middle school till late high school and it eventually went away but masturbation did not leave me.

I think it could be seen as a sin because there's such a stigma around it. Western culture (I'm not as familiar with Eastern culture) seems to view sex as a really dirty and vulgar thing. I mean, sure, we talk about it and look at it all the time. But it's supposed to be dirty. And you're supposed to feel wrong about being curious about your sexuality.

Personally, I don't think it's a bad thing to know how your body works. So in my personal opinion, I don't view it as a sin. In fact, you'd think it would be encouraged as a safe alternative to sex among frustrated teenagers. Oh well.
