First tentative details on GBA version *CURRENTLY UNCONFIRMED*

I found The Magic Box posting this little Blurb:

- Square Enix's Final Fantasy V Advance for GBA will feature new jobs and dungeons not found in the original version, the game will be a 120% port of the Super Famicom version.

No pics or anything with the article.

They usually get pics, news and scans from various sources, maybe from the next VJump or Famitsu which will be out in a day or two.

I don't have a Game boy but oh well, I may have to get a DS then, they play Gameboy games right? But seriously I loved FFV, I don't think it got the attention it deserved, I hope this is real good, but I still got my ps1 version so yeah.

Its good to see tho, the older FF's getting their due recognition via platform ports. I dont own a GBA myself but I will look forward to this rom being released when its time comes.

As long as they do a good job I will be happy. Although I would prefer them to remake titles instead of just porting and adding one or two things. I'd rather them start over like FF III DS.

In some ways it's good that people who never got a chance to play the original Final Fantasy games will have the opportunity to do so with a port to a modern platform.

How many regard FFVI as a great game and were overjoyed that they could re-play it (or even just play it for the first time) when it was re-released for the Playstation?

I never had FFV on the SNES, but I did play the Playstation port of it, which I enjoyed. But now I'd like to play a portable version (as I won't need to set up my console in front of a television set which I don't have) and hopefully with some new features that will enhance the original, without losing anything which made the original such a good game.

Or rather, any information regarding the English version release?

I'm desperately waiting to know when it's going to be on sale in New Zealand, so I know when it will be worth buying myself a Nintendo DS Lite.
