Question: Treasure in Land of Summoned monsters

Okay. I just happened to stumble on this forum... and I want to make my first post a question to something that has had me stumped forever.

In the city that Leviathan is in, in the Land of Summoned Monsters. You walk past an opening in the floor that displays 4 treasure chests. How do you get to those???

I personally believe they may just be backround, as I've walked all through the city and the cave hitting "A" on every square possible. (Sometime back in the day when I had that much time on my hands)

If I've missed something though... I hope you all can help.

There's a tile you need to step on. I don't remember exactly where it is ... You know the tile you step on to go to the second floor, that you have to cross to get the Rat Tail and step on twice? It looks like that. It's toward the Southern end of one of the floors of the Land of Summoned Monsters. It looks just like that tile, but there's only one way to it -- it's surrounded on the left, right, and top by the borders of the floor.

By the way, from another floor, those four chests will always look closed. If you open them and get the treasure, then go back up, they'll still look closed. But they're the same chests.

Thanks... yeah, I've gotten them. Just the animation of all those boxes still being closed when you view it from directly above was leading me to believe that I still needed to get them. You guys are great though... thanks a bunch.
