Kingdom Hearts 2 Progress

Well with KH2 out now and people having finally picked it up and started playing, tells us where you are. What is your progress, what are you enjoying at that moment? What has been your favorite moment? What is the status of your characters? Oh and try not to spoil story for people, so be careful.

I am on my second play through, I beat the game on Normal Mode and trying on Proud Mode. I have done almost everything in Normal Mode except beat the Hades Cup. They are lv 99, maxed out everything Forms and Summons. I am using the Fenrir keyblade I found from a fight and have cut all of my combos out. So now I only do finishing moves, making me a killing machine.

On Proud mode I just Pirates of the Caribbean world. I am lvl 21 with the Hero's Crest Keyblade and Valor at 3 and Wisdom at 1 (since I just got a world ago. Port Royale is probably my favorite world because of the battle music.

I'm thinking about playing through Kingdom Hearts at last, I"ve NEVER played it, even though I've owned it for nearly 2 years.

You owned the game for two years and never even played it? How come you bought it Sean and never played it? It is a good game, definitely worth playing through. Especially KH2 which is vastly improved over the original.

I am about 4 hours in.

Nothing special. I just got control of Sora for the first time. Finished the Twilight Town debacle....

I am hoping it picks up a bit. The intro seemed very tedious.

i beat the first one and im broke right now so i cant buy it

i saq the commercial and practilly crapped myself to see sehpiroth and cloud fighting and i was like ohh sh.......

Dang Andromeda. Your good! i never even thought you could cut the combo down to only the finishing combo! And you beat the killing machine and got fenrir? I could'nt even bring his health down 5 bars. And I got the game the first day it came out. I beat the game and i am using the ultima weapon. i got save the king and queen. when did you get the game? you must be playing like 10 hrs a day!

I got the game when it first came out as well, though I could only play the game for 4 hours a day, well 6 hours and then all of Sunday. That was how I was able to do it quickly. But Sephiroth is easy with the Ultima Weapon and some MP Rage and MP Haste abilities.

thanks for the tips, but magic doesnt really hurt him does it? to me i need guard and other tricks to avoid damage!

The MP Rage and MP Haste isn't for magic, it is for Curaga. You need Curaga in order to stay alive. And you only have a limited space for Potions or Ethers. So you need to rely on your MP, since using Ethers still mean needing to heal.

I'm about 15 hours into the game now. I just pick at it whenever I find some time, it is great so far.

I just beat Halloween town and had Twilight Town reappear. I have been trying to stay up-to-date with all treasures (although they are TOO EASY to find), sub-quests, characters, maps, etc. I love the journals in this game, too good.

I have just begun to tap the surface, Sora is level 26 with Valor level 3, and wisdom 1. I agree Andro, Port Royale definately has great battle music, haha. Makes it hard to leave that place simply just for the music.

Well I finished for the night and I think Sora and the gang are lv 40 now and I just finished the Olypmic Colliseum. I have fully completed three worlds and I am working on 5 more worlds I think it is to complete. Then I can head to final world and settle it all. I have the Master form now and that is lv 2. I will be leveling that up soon, since I know a good place.

Well - I finished the game this afternoon. Took me a total of 32 hours, which isn't that long since I didn't fully complete all the quests, secrets, and worlds. Although I did complete 8 worlds fully though.

My overall Jiminy Journal Completion was 84%, which is what I expected. I got all my drives to at least level 3. I NEVER used summons, I just didn't find a good use for them ever.

The final battle was fun and long. Once you think it is done it just keeps going. I have heard of secret/alternate endings, how are they obtained if they are true? by getting higher completion ratings?

DAMN good game though.

It is simple, get the journal to 100%.

*cough* hehe *cough* Yeah, that is all you have to do, but it is anything but easy to do. If you play on the Proud Mode you get it automatically, if you play on the Normal Mode you have to complete the journal, and it is impossible to get on the easy mode.

So just do everything in the game, but the Gummi, thank goodness you do not have to do the Gummi. And then beat the game again after you get 100%.
