X-2 is the worst game on so many levels

i think final fnatsy X-2 was the worst game and it is pointless to buy because u find out what happens to tidues if u get the 100% ending and u have to get 100% on 10-2 to find tidus

Considering ALL Final Fantasy Games, I have to disagree. Crystal Chronicles which has the worst storyline (if you can call it that) of any Final fantasy game. The characters have no depth and there is really no fullfillment in playing the game. I could ramble on but I'm sure I've seen this thread before and posted this anyway

I don't think X-2 is really that bad. I haven't finished the game yet but so far I think it's pretty good. The storyline is alright and I think the characters are cool. It's no where near as good as X but I still think it's alright. I am enjoying it so far. I don't like it how there are a few different endings, it should just have one which explains if Tidus comes back or not. It kind of sucks that you have to play 100% of the game to get the good ending. I haven't do far so I'll probably get a boring ending lol.

Hmm. I don't think it was actually that bad; I liked the story and some of the character progression.

I don't like tedious percentage-gathering games where you have to do specific things to get a decent ending; FFX-2 was exactly this kind of game, yet I didn't hate it.

The fighting system was the fastest ever seen in FF, and I presonally think that it's the best. The Dressphere system was great. Damn, I want to play that game now.

Chronicles is the worst. Play it if you don't believe me, but I warn you, it's painful.

I really enjoyed Final Fantasy X-2. The storyline is a bit slow to actually pick up, but when it does, I think it was one of the most rewarding of all the Final Fantasy games. The battle system was pretty okay as well, even though I had hoped for something more after seeing the first screens with characters not standing lined up on a row.

Yeah, I didn't think it was absolute shit, but its not the type of game I would obsess over for days on end. I liked that they brought back the Dress System it would of been better with say 4 characters. I never completed it due to getting side tracked but I will try and get through it eventually lol.

No. I disagree because I love the game, personally. I just finished playing it for the 3rd time, {it might not be alot, but i think it is}. It is really fun and HOW IS IT BAD EXACTLY?

You do not need 100% completion to find out what happens to Tidus. You only need like 80% completion for that maybe more. There are three endings. The bad ending, the good ending and the perfect ending. The first two give you FMVs, the third gives you a cutscene, on top of the FMVs. So it is best to just get the different endings. Though the important one is the good ending which is not hard to actually get. The only problem is that you have to know what to do to get the ending.

As for the game, you have to take it in the spirit it was created. It was meant to be fun, FFX had a depressing storyline, FFX-2 was meant to be cheerful and happy. While there are sad moments in FFX-2, it is not like a lot of the FF games where it is all doom and gloom. It had a battle system that was one of the most enjoyable in any game and you could do what you wanted and play as much or as little as you really wished.

In all honesty, Andromeda is right.

FFX -2 was meant to be upbeat and funny, whereas FFX was in the vein of "The world is gonna end" kind of thing. True, some of the "mini-games" were rather frustrating, but then all games have their points we just wish we could Gameshark through.

still its pointless in some ways because u can get the perfect ending in where she finds tidus to or else i messed up somewhere.SAY it with me the sad ending is where she whistles and tidus comes and hugs her but dissapears the perfect is where hes in the water and the normal ending the good is where the fayth regather her soul...

And the good ending you get the FMV where they are in the water and everything. The perfect ending is the good ending plus one extra cutscene in Zanarkand, that has Tidus explaining what he thinks happened.

I did liked FFX2, it was interesting to get the 100% because you had really cool fights and it made it longer, which I enjoyed. It was sad and for me it wasnt pointless, I <3 it!

i carely got past the game after spending a total of 13 months trying to beat it itook many breaks simply because this game is really hard to beat in on e setting or month for that matter but its not crap i actually really like this game
