New Admin In Town!

There is a new admin in town...!

As of lately, TFF has had several situations that a more full-time forum admin has been needed. I try to pull my weight around here, but I am busy with other site related issues, school, work, and other obligations. The forums deserve a more attentive admin to answer immediate concerns, questions, and other politics.

Cesar (LocoColt04) will be added to the official admin team either later tonight or early tomorrow. I'm sure most of you already think of him as a behind the scenes administrator, but now it is just official. He will be helping me with mainly forum politics, ideas, coding, and other macro-level stuff. Most importantly, he is more active and available than I will ever be. This puts the admin team to 3, and I'm sure this will be suffice for the time being. All 3 of us (Me, Loco, and Soldier 819) will work hard to keep the forums active, stable, and up to date along with our solid super moderator team.

Anyways, I just wanted to introduce Cesar. I know most of you already know him very well, so I guess no real introduction is necessary. Please welcome him and direct any immediate forum questions/concerns to him. I will mainly focus on hacks, updates, and the main site. I will now open it up to Cesar...

Okay, now that that's out of my system, I suggest you do as Fuzz says and direct any admin-related questions toward me rather than him, to keep his workload light. Basic forum-related questions can still come to me, though I think the supermoderators would like to be able to help you all from time to time. As it currently stands, I receive more PMs in a day than anyone else on staff receives in a week. While I certainly do not mind helping each and every one of you when I can, the workload gets pretty heavy whenever I'm gone for more than a day.

If you don't remember who your supermoderators are, you can view THIS PAGE for a full staff listing. Please do not direct your forum-related questions to anyone in the Moderator group, as they have specific sections which they specialize in. As such, it goes without saying that any questions about their sections should go to them.

In any case, the admin panel has an insanely tall navigation section. It's quite a bit different from the one I'm used to with SMF forums. Not necessarily more options, but definitely organized in a completely different way. I'll be toying around with things over the next couple of days, so if I accidentally implode the forums... I kid, I kid. I shouldn't make mistakes THAT bad.

I did, however, already find a bug in the system which Fuzz is fixing now.

Admins do not have the luxury of sarcasm. What you label sarcasm could easily be construed as being full of oneself ie: letting the power go to your head. Whether or not that is true is irrelevant. You were a sarcastic wiseass at times too, and look how people treated you. How unfair. I guess not everyone thinks to lighten up and read through the sarcasm once in a while. Bah. Ah - good points here. I always have loved Merlin's deepness. I should have also included you in the initial admin list. You have admin permissoins and everything, you just do not coordinate with the actual forum politics at all, that is why I got confused.

Indeed, I speak from experience. People have a habit of sticking with their fallacies(Hasty Generalization among others) no matter how much you prove them wrong. The more effort you place in proving them wrong, the more they believe they are right. Its an endless cycle of stupid. Maybe its because the population here is much younger than me? I think that had a lot to do with it. I probably sounded like their mom or something... LMFAO!!! Whatev... have fun and all that jazz.

I've discovered something interesting, but I won't post it here. It might scare some people. Heck, it freaked me out... but its so true! Its a mystery!

And yeah, the majority of the forum is still younger than me, too. That isn't to say that they're necessarily immature or anything, but I get misinterpreted A LOT.
