Who do you think is the toughthest boss in the game?

Necron because of his grand cross attack it kept killing evrybody off!!

Yeah, Necron was quite a challenge for me too. I kept trying to defeat him, and when i thought i was close, he would do some attack that would affect everyone in my party!

Tantarian, you have to be so good and have a good strategy early in the game to beat the sucker.

Necron can be hard if you havent equipped a large enough list of immunities, hes particuarly annoying for his ability to cause Zombified KO's, which effectivly remove a party member from the battle altogether. However I beleive most would say Ozma is far harder, even if you do the prep quest before faceing the thing (and if you dont, well, good luck with that.. you'll need it) it will be using the strongest spell in the game meaning you will need to nullify certain elements and be ready to hit it for a lot of damage as quick as possible. At the very least thats the 'standard' strategy.

That said most of the bosses in IX really arent that bad, it really was a rather easy game overall in my honest opinion. Its true a few bosses may catch one offguard, such as the Tanatarian if gone after at the earlier oppertunity in the game - I've never done that, personaly, didnt see the point when I could fight it later on, but each to there own eh?

I found Necron so easy to kill! Never have I died against him. He looks cool, and theres that lovely eerie music and the battle for the will to live, but naaaah! Piece of cake!

Ozma was definatly the hardest for me. The most tedious too. He's not as bad as the Ruby WEAPON of VII, but Ozma was the hardest on IX. Once I made my strategy, trained my party up loads, and went through the many minutes of dishing dirt onto the floating ball of doom, it died. "FINALLY!" I said to myself.

Ark was pretty hard, while I remember...

Im not sure...Necron was not too bad...but i had trouble with Ozma...lol...but in the end I had complete ownage.

Dude, Necron was nothing. It was that Giant beach bal-like dude (Ozma) that was a real pain in the ass (htough I killed him many times, including once with NO abilities on and almost once with only Zidane )

Well.. I never really found any of the bosses hard, but when I first played the game the hardest boss to me was definitely Necron! His Grand Cross was the end of me!
