The Miyazaki Thread

Well, since this thread was apparently lost with the server mess-up thing...I'm remaking it.

For people who did not know what this thread is about, it is about discussing the Miyazaki animes (such as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Porko Rosso, etc.).

Personally, I think that all of the Miyazaki animes that I have seen are really good. They have compelling storylines, and there is always at least one that will appeal to someone.

My favorite Miyazaki anime is Princess Mononoke, which I just finished watching on Toonami for the first time. It is a beautiful anime and it brought tears to my eyes toward the end. It had an absolutly great story and several action scenes, mainly man vs. animal. It is by far one of my favorite animes of all time.

I cant decide between Princess Mononoke and Spirited away. Both of them are masterpieces in my eyes. Miyazaki is a genious, he know howto make a good movie.

It reminds me that I have a few Miyazaki's movies..but no DVD to watch them..

I enjoy SPirited away I really love the part where Chihori went running down the stairs after one broke screaming like some crazy woman it was so amusing as she went bam right into the wall. I thought I'd die laughing.
