Rumors...?

For the first one or two years that this game was out, one could go on end playing this game and drown its richlly set enviroment. But after completion... a couple years ago... little annoying mights and maybes started to drown most of the FF site. A name given unto these terrible little mights were known as Rumors.

What I ask is simple.

What was you favorite rumor that you tried to find? And which one did you hate?

Usually all of them were to no prevail.

My favorite was prbably trying to get the fabled 'Silver Chocobo'

And the one I hated the most was trying to 'revive Aeris shake

Silver < Gold anyway, so why bother with it? =P

I'm pretty sure the rumour was that it could go underwater...or that it could fly...one or the other.

Yeh, the Aeris' one was annoying since people just went on and on and on about it and some people believed even the most stupid of 'Aeris Revival' rumours. -.-

The Silver Chocobo could take you in space suposedly....
My favorite rumor... I didn't like any of them...but the most intresting one's were either getting Zack, Clouds 5th limit break, being able to get Holy and Black materia, and I guess the one about being able to fly in space...

The worst one's.... Aries revive... and Hentia(sp) ending.... COMON GUYS IF there was such an ending wanna know how much trouble they would be in....

From what I've heard, it goes underwater, and allows you to fight a hyper-boss named Alpha Leviathan. Apparently the Rainbow Chocobo allows you to fly, like the highwind.

My favorite rumor has to be the one where Cloud turns into Zack. Apparently, if you get to level 99, there's a small chance that his hair will turn black, and he'll become Zack.

Yes the silver chocobo rumor mentioned space the drawback was no one ever gave a reason you should try it exceot i heard upon getting it you oculd get the Ultima Bahamut Materia but i quickly dissproved them.

the rumor i hate was the one less none where you had to collect every weapon and materia and max out the materias and defeat ruby wepaon with one guy to get a better airship the Highwind X i beleive

I heard that you could be Zack also.

Never really looked into it, but some kid in High School swore he was in his party. That and he was at level 100. LOL

i have never seen a code anywhere for that and unless i missed something the highest level is 99

Ok, I never was as fanatical apparently as others were about this FF game or any other for that matter. Hell I thought FF Tactics was the master of rumors, I couldn't believe there was an Escucheon II or Javelin II at Nelveska Temple, until I found them.

But no, I never searched for any rumor in this game ever, even though I did want to get the Lucky 7 trick to work sometime, but I never did that either.

The lamest rumor was Aeris coming back to life, it would have made the whole game ridiculous and would have messed up the storyline IMO.

Those rumors about bringing back Aeris were important though because we WANTED to believe them...almost everyone at least TRIED one. The best ones were the oens involving the replica of the masamune and the 1/35 Soldiers won in Gold Saucers Speed Square and that cave (accessable only by a vine you can't climb in game) right before the City of the Ancients in the Sleeping Forest. you know the one...the one that doesn't seem to have any purpose but theres still a path leading there and they said it was the only way to access the under ground city of hte ancients after Aeris death?

My favorte rumor though involves the Cheese Weapon and the three Icecream materias XD Never did find a rumor I didn't liek though...

The reviving Aeris one was DEFINATLY the most common rumor. And yup... i fell for it!

A rumour I heard that none of you mentioned was that when Vincent gets to level 99, he gets a final Stage 4 Limit Break that you can choose instead of Chaos was the Omega Weapon. That was probably my favorite rumour... it would have been a cool limit break.

My least favorite was that if you did something (i can't remember what), theres a bit where you find out that Vincent is Sephiroths dad. It's obvious he isnt, as Lucretia and Hojo were together, and i don't think Vincent would want to kill his own son.
