This show is too good. Everything is top-notch, and it is probably the best animated series I've ever seen.

Especially the fights.

Heyy now!~ I actually saw.... ONE
episode of this series! and it was pretty
ok! Is it based around Buhddism...? Because of the
idea of avatars, reincarnation, monks, & the
belief of Yin & Yang.

The fighting IS pretty interesting. I was watching the
fight between the water benders. Good moves, its just
that the animation is KIND OF slow, and not so smooth.
But I would definitely watch it again if I knew when.
(I didn't/couldn't check out the clips btw)

The Avatar the last Airbender is tied for my favorite show I've reccorded all of the episodes so far"I wonder why they did'nt show one this friday?" but yea anyway the only thing that I don't like about like about it is that it's based around Buddism but that okay I'm don't really care I watch Inusia or however you spell it all the time so this is not bad, I love the show Avatar the last Airb Bender!

The show is nice, but here in Germany, nick has only shown the first season up to chaoter 12 and is now reairing all of those 12.grrrrrrrrmph!

Honestly I'm not to big a fan of the show. But yes I've seen a few episodes. They run it on a British Nick channel I have called Nicktoons, but not Nicklodeon, mind you I'm in America. I can see where the show would entertain, but it's a bit kiddy for me, ah well though hehe to each his own.

So there is this show on Nickelodeon (that should be on Toonami, mind you) called Avatar: The Last Airbender. Whenever mentioned, my friends bashed it because of its stupidity.

Expecting to be crap, I watched it and I hated the humor and the voices.
It was too childish for my tastes....

Then, one day I was enjoying an episode of Naruto and suddenly realized, "This show is just as stupid."

Then I found out Avatar would be on every weekday at 6:30. Should I give it a chance?

If you want to base a show on stupidity, then FLCL/Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi are the stupidest shows of them all. Yet they're so freaking awesome and easily on the top best Anime out there.

And yes, I agree with you that Avatar should be on Toonami, because it was originally an anime. (It has manga, too.)

Though.. I have yet to see this show.

I do quite enjoy avatar. Not as much as other animes (I don't follow it). But, sure. Give it a chance

don't get lulled in by "stupidy" its an alright show, but I'll ament there is better out there. your frined probaly laugh at you becuase of who its made by and that makes them think its a kiddy show. if I listen to all my friends I would atch my fav anime, Inuyasha. to say it simply, if you think the show is worth ckecking out, then go for it. it won't kill you to give it a try

Avatar is alright, though I've only watched a handful of episodes. The show is getting pretty popular now. Anyway, yeah, it's not too bad. Check it out, you might like it (at least a little bit).
